The official timing for trekking is from 7.00 AM to 2.00 PM where they won't allow to trek after 2. We planned to start the trip by 8.00 but lazily we started at 9.30 AM. We need to complete some formalities with the forest office before entering the peak. The permit come for a price. Trekking charges for a group... More

Our experience of the chembra peak trek was astonishing. The trek is quite difficult if you are not used to trekking but it is definitely worthwhile. I just didn't stop clicking as each step towards the peak offered a different view and I wanted a picture of every moment spent there. The heart shaped lake on the top is said to... More

This is a must visit spot in Wayanad. You'll have to walk till the view point to see beautiful tea estate all around. Incase you want to go to the top point you need to trek 3km to reach the top of the Peak. You'll find a small heart shaped lake on top.

This is the highest point in Wayanad. If you intend to go here you need to do so before 2pm. This is the cut off time if you want to trek all the way to the peak. We were not aware of this hence we could not go upto the peak , we managed to go only to the viewpoint.... More

It's a good hike of about 2.5 kms till you reach the heart shaped lake. They do not let you go up further now. The view from the top is pleasant indeed. You can see the beautiful landscape of the earth and the hills. A good place to take photos and the guides are very helpful. You have to pay... More

A very nice place with tea estates on both side. The view of the mountain was also breathtaking. We walked till the watch tower and the view from that place is also beautiful with cloud covered mountain peaks on three sides. But the 5 km road to reach the spot was very bad and it took a lot of time... More
