Tough and Breathtaking trek.. Must visit for everyone but not recommended for Sr. and families with kids below 5 years.... as it is steep and slippery. Carry water bottle and enjoy....

Positives: the hike was lovely, challenging, and beautiful. Our guide was nice and told us about some of the local plants. Overall extremely peaceful and a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of Indian life. However, when we reached Heart Lake we were disappointed to discover that that was the end of the trek. Apparently, this year they have... More

Trek to Chembra was tough but breathtaking view really takes the pressure off. We started the trek 6 in the morning and had to return before it gets dark. Be prepared to sacrifice yourself for leeches its like the hell.

Been to this place along with my friends. Will start your trek from tea estates. Although the lake is not big you will find it great.. The trek will take at least 2 hours to reach the peak. The path was a bit slippery but still a good experience. I would suggest you to carry water bottles as you find... More

Well the trek starts with subtle difficulties but as you cross the viewpoint, the hardships start. It's a true test of your endurance and determination. All I'm gonna say is that once you reach atop the peak, you will savour every second of it. Don't return from the midway. Don't start what you can't finish.

Good if you go for full day trekking but no point going just for view points. Although the peak is excellent and the whole region is green.

Chembra is a must visit place in wayanad! The trek starts off amidst tea estates, after which there is some rocky hill climbing and throw grasslands and then the heart lake. To the heart lake it takes about 2 hours. The trek and the surrounding sceneries are BEAUTIFUL. Although the heart lake is not worth all the hype the view... More

I was really up for the actual climb. I wanted to see what my 62-year-old joints could handle. The climb was brutal. The concept of switchbacks on the path would have made the trip longer, but much easier. A couple weeks later, my knees are still suffering the climb and the especially the descent. Afterwards I could not cool down,... More
