Very good trek and nice scenery at the top, including the lake. There are lot of photo opportunities and the area around is great for bird watching.

Moderate difficulty trekking .Takes around hour and a half to climb. The PEAK is not so exciting but the trekking is good. No drinking water available at the PEAK. Suggest to carry water !!

Over an hours drive from Kalpetta, the last section on a very potholed road. The hike itself is very steep but the area around the heart shaped lake has wonderful views. Took us about an hour to do the climb, which is on a narrow path, the dust makes it slippy in places. Recommend it for the views.

The charge was around 750 for a group of 10 people, so if you want to save make a group with others before taking the ticket. The trek is 4 to 5 km up and down. The view during the trek... More

The first 3-4 kms are manageable till the ticket counter, post which it is preferred to ride by a jeep/suv. The last 5 km road has steep curves and is in a very... More
