a place so soothing to ur eyes, u cant help planning a second, third trip. the boat ride to see the dolphins is amazing and the view of the dolphins makes the ride worth. the food stalls with modaks ,solkadhi, and kokam juice are satisfying.

Tarkarli is one of the busiest beach. Huge number of people travel to this destination mostly from Pune , Mumbai and Kolhapur. I was here just for scooba diving. That was a good experience. The agents there will charge you a lot, but you must bargain. They will start from 1300 per head and if you are good enough in... More

Very clean and less visited by tourists. Plenty of beach touching local rentals available for reasonable rates. I liked the feel of clean white fine sand softly touching my feet. One of favorite beaches to watch sunset.

The Tarkarli beach is where we stayed - MTDC resort. The beach is clean with gentle waters, and limited tourists. There are camel & horse rides too, mercifully in morning & evenings only. After visiting some of the other beaches around the area, I found that many of these were better. But a good place to go especially with kids.
