Our final stop in Pattaya. It was a good experience to watch those gigantic sharks roam around a bit scary though !

This is a large aquarium with many different fish. nothing spectacular or unique. Go only if you have young kids and there is nothing else to do. Should take around 20-30 min to see it all. 500 B entry fee.

Given our tightly packed routine this wasnt on our itinery as fixed by our travel agent and i realised later there was a good reason why. On reaching pattaya instead of relaxing in our very nice hotel when our taxi driver suggested going there we agreed. But it was just a nightmarish experience. There wasnt anything that stood out plus... More

Went to underwater world and staff showed complete disinterest in everything. Guy at dive centre would not lift his head from the book he was reading. The exhibits were definitely below average. Especially the jellyfish where most of the species had long died off leaving 2 very plain and ordinary species. Coral next to none. Coral fish vertically absent. I... More

Foreigners pay twice as much as Thais (it's on their website if you care to look up the Thai characters). And if your kids are over 1.3 metres tall they must pay adult price. My 4 year old is 1.31 metres tall. We refused to pay and left. Avoid this RIP OFF and put your money into something else.

Ok, let's start with the main negatives: - Increased prices for tourists (it seems to be acceptable in Thailand to charge foreigners more than Thai people...you get used to it) - Found a discount coupon online and showed it to the cashier on my phone but they wouldn't accept it as it wasn't printed - The place is small and... A typical aquarium that can be visited in any other city.. nothing too special about the aquarium apart from the diving with the shark/sting rays...Could not find the value for money in the aquarium that accomodates mostly jelly fish... I suggest pass this and use the money somewhere better...!!

This place was nice to go but over priced , I booked to do the dive in the two tanks for one hour and it cost me over 4000 thb ,entry fee, dive fee, and dvd of the dive , only did one tank, was told some excuse about the other tank not available, got fed-up in the one tank... More

The Underwater World,Pattaya is a typical aquarium with a walk thru the water world displays.....they have some good information and aquatic life but many a displays appeared empty.......for a person who has seen these kind of aquariums it has nothing new to offer but kids and first timers were having a good time! apart from some feeding and petting areas... 1. One can enjoy more based on their preference : a. Walk through the Aquarium [Average Size] & enjoy few unique creatures b. Adventurous by Diving with Sharks & Rays, feeding them, Holding onto a turtle c. Feeding Kois with a Milk Bottle 2. Overall Just a Time Pass, since we didn't go for options b & c as mentioned...
