Great activity while in the Pyrenees. Make sure you bring proper bathers, they do not allow boardshorts - I had to buy some speedos from their store before being allowed into the centre. Excellent building and pools, very relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommended.

We had 2 treatments and 3 tickets to the so called "Thermal Baths" Lip Treatment was fine and inexpensive but Massage was extortionately expensive and very poor. Thermal baths were simply a few shallow lanes of water with bubbles and lock caves. This was also very expensive. Of all the staff, none of them had any command of English language.... More

After a hard day's walking in the Spanish Pyrenees we decided to cross the border to France in search of some relaxation. We were glad we did! Balnea is in a beautiful location at the end of the valley, surrounded by hills and mountains. The building is really nicely designed and there is a fantastic range of different pools, baths... More

Giant baths with strangers? No thank you. However, a dear friend really wanted to go, so we gritted our teeth and went along. So glad that we did! This is a luxurious place which aims to help you relax which it does exceedingly well. (Husband did need to purchase, for a nominal fee, a French men's swimsuit - no trunks... More

Good pools, well laid out, reasonable price. Disliked not open catering facilities. But the patisserie nearby the super Marche does a good coffee and cakes.

We went there on a Wednesday and so didn't spend much time in the area to which kids have access but headed to the saunas and outdoor pools. The view from those is fantastic. A perfect complement to a week of hiking.

The baths at Balnea are really incredible. You can swim or lounge in a variety of Roman, Japanese, and other style baths while admiring the gorgeous mountain views. It is really heavenly. There are different temperatures of water and other things to choose from. Definitely worth a few hours and a detour if you are in the area. I regret... More
