If you go to this island don't waste your time to stay in Patok bay, go to Siam beach! It is much more quiet and only a 10 minute walk from Patok bay. Siam beach is a private beach owned by Rayaburi resorts. We didn't stay at the resort but it looked very nice :)

I was here during a tripday excursion. The beach is not so especial, very small and with a lot of people that will come in the late afternoon. You will pay for all service you need, for example to get the umbrella 250 baht and you will have to fix on your own (and be careful because some time wind... More

Me and my girlfriend booked a 1 day trip to the island. Expectations were not that high after being on Phi Phi island trips which are rushed, dirty and not that pleasant. Boy we were surprised. They took us there on a speedboat, about a 30min sail from Phukets Chalong pier. First we got to stay on the main beach... More

We booked the tour Banana beach discovery, and we visited three islands - Racha Noi, Racha Yai and Banana beach. This beach was the best we've been on our whole trip. Amazing white sand, peaceful, perfect color of the water. Images can't describe how wonderful this is. There are hotels in this islands, so next time we are anywhere near... More

Really nice beach with rich marine life...the fishes get bigger the further you dive from the shore. Be Careful of sea urchins and strong currents. Saw a couple of monitor lizards on the island. Worth the trip;) Check out paradise restaurant for a quick bite...gorgeous location...just around the bay

I've been to Maya Island, Phi Phi Island and Coral Island but Racha (or Raya) Island by far had the best beach near Phuket. The beach is small but had clear water and lots of fish. Like all of the other islands near Phuket, the beach was crowded with Chinese tourists. There's also great snorkelling off the island.

We were lucky to hire a private speed boat from Rawai. Got there some time before the sea was bubbling with people ,and experienced suprisingly clear water for snorkelling close to the main beach. I have never seen so white and 'powderlike' sand and water so deliciously clear. Enjoyed the place even though it was buzzing with crowds of Chinese... More

The beach is perfect. Had a very memorable stay in this wonderful island. The white sand, clear water and even had the chance to watch and swim with the fishes. The whole family enjoyed the experience we had. You must try it too.

As a beach goer, I found this beach as a little heaven on earth. A great spot for chilling and sun bathing. Go swim to the calm beach, playing with fishes or doing some water sports. 3 hours trip on island is never enough
