The Playa de Muro beach in front of the hotel where we stayed (Be Live Grand Palace Muro) is beautiful, never crowded, well maintained. Water is shallow and turqoise and the sand is very fine and almost white.

Lots of seaweed and quite breezy but clean and plenty of sunbeds to be had. Right on the doorstep of the hotel.

Great for kids as gentle slope into water. Due to the onshore winds though the water could be a little choppy. Good watersports available.

What a fantastic beach, it is really lovely with soft fine sand and a gently shelving access. Also you can walk out very far before it begins to get deep. There is a variety of watersports available. Most people take their own beach umbrella and sit on towels as the sunbeds are expensive, especially if you intend on staying a... More

Don't go onto public bit without the beds / parasol things. You'll be surrounded by Russians with out of control screaming kids. Go for the beds , they're not expensive and will save your sanity. By the way, in the interests of racial harmony and with reference to what's generally considered civilised behaviour by most of our European neighbours, can't... More

The beach here is clean and perfect for children. You are able to walk out for ages and it still is only a few feet high. There are times whe the waves become strong, but the kids loved it.
