One of several hill top Cathar Castles in the region. Built high on a rocky outcrop above the village of Lastours the castle looks remarkable and must have seemed intimidating in its day. There are several surviving parts to visit all requiring a steep walk up rocky paths from the welcome centre in the village to reach them. This said... More

We visited this winery on three separate occasions and found it to be just lovely. In addition we had lunch three times at LaBergerie which was just fantastic. The food was exquisite and the staff wonderful. On one occasion we went with small children and without even asking the staff brought out a highchair for the baby. I would return... More

Calm, elegant atmosphere in the restaurant, which we visited during the summer of 2011. Pleasant staff end excellent food and wine.

We looked everywhere for the ruins, but only found the winery. The staff were rude. The area is pretty but I'd recommend other places long before this one.
