Just to add to the other comments.....a lovely walk that many guidebooks seem to play down or overlook totally. We did Marinha beach to Benagil and back, a very pleasant walk that took less than an hour each way. Various car parks along the length of the walk so easy to do sections as you wish (and one or two... More

It´s a wonderfull board walk by the sea, where we find the most beautiful beaches of Algarve, the beach of Marinha ...got a colour of the water so lovely... By the way you can see plants and views fantastic, you pass for some small village of fisherman, where you can stop for a great meal of sea food. During the... More

This guided walk is a splendid day out, with stunning views of the distinctive coastline, and occasionally challenging terrain. Well-described by Roger T elsewhere, I would add the proviso that it can be taken at a leisurely pace, and there are so many opportunities for breaks - photos, picnics, swims, and simply taking in the scenery - that we spent... 1) lovely if you like to walk, breathtaking views! 2) it is not a tricky walk but it is not completely flat either 3) prepare for the heat! If you're going during summer, it can get really hot and there is nearly no shade! take enough water to drink 4) about halfway (in the half of the trajectory... it is... More

As other reviewers have mentioned, make sure to take this walk while in Algarve, it is absolutely amazing, especially if you are lucky to catch a sunset. Some reviewers say it would take 2-3 hours, however our one-way trip took us 5 hours, but we frequently stopped for pictures and had a picnic in the meantime. The trail is demanding... More

This is a walk certainly not to be missed while in the Algarve. Plus, right now, it is blessed with a fantastic spring and after a long wet winter the landscape is beyond description literally covered in flowers of all sorts and colours. This walk is kind of long if you think you have to come back the same way... More

This spectacular route along the central Algarve clifftops runs from the beach at Vale Centianes in the west to the beach at Marinha in the East, passing the Alfazinha lighthouse, Carvalho beach and Benagil beach as well as numerous other coves. It can be walked in either direction using the red & yellow markings painted on rocks or on posts.Good... More
