After 12 years designing and developing one of the World's most highly awarded Ecotourism companies, John "Caveman" Gray goes his own way by forming "John Gray's SeaCanoe" with 18 of his most loyal and experienced guides. "After 12 years in Phuket, the experiment ran its course and I was packing for Polynesia," says Gray, "but when all these guides showed up, I had no choice but to stay and do another start-up."

How lucky we were to have the opportunity to visit Phuket, Thailand!!! It was one of the most interesting places I've ever experienced!!! Although my husband, son and I were there quite a few months ago, I was remiss by not writing about John Gray's Sea Canoes. This all day trip on the Andaman Sea was the single most unforgettable... Over the last 20 years I have done several Phang Nga trips in many forms, and I hope to do many more yet. This was right up there as one of the very best, and as so many before me have detailed everything so perfectly, I will just agree with all they say. Everything was done by the company and... More

Hong by Starlight was really a peaceful, relaxing and ofcourse breath-takingly beautiful tour. Very professional and well organised, not rushed. During the trip you get canoed into 3 or 4 hongs by your personal guide who shares his knowledge of the area and environment with you. They feed you well, much needed after 8 hours in paradise. John Gray himself... More

Experience well worth trying! My husband and I both enjoyed this activity. We did the Hong by Starlight. Im not really a nature kind of gal but I loved seeing new things and this activity was definitely worth trying. They pick you up at your hotel, drive to the pier, meet up with other groups and then your group leader... More

TOUR TAKEN The Starlight kayaking tour was one of the best tour experiences I have had and I work in the travel industry. Even my 17 and 15 teenage boys loved the whole day. This was a truly all inclusive KAYAKING tour, no gouging, free DVDS at the end of the day. GUIDES: Knowledgeable, charming and cheeky. Charlie (local Thai... More

This was the best tour I went on out of a total of four. Our guide for Hong By Starlight was so knowledgeable about all of the wildlife. He made the trip very worthwhile. All of the staff provide such great service. You dodge all of the crowds by going in the afternoon and get to see plankton glow like... More

This was an unforgettable adventure - wildlife and thai islands I'd never know existed. The guides were professional, great English, made it fun, the food on the ferry was freshly cooked by lical families and - absolutely delicious. I have some great memories and pretty rare pictures from this trip.

Great day for all the family from hotel pickup by mini-van through to the return later in the evening. Both lunch and dinner superb, and plentiful with a good selection of seafood and non-seafood dishes, water supplied, and able to bring your own drinks to have on the boat, and with dinner. Entering the Hongs via caves, sometimes with low... More

This definitely was the best part of our trip to Thailand. Our tour guide was magnificent and quite entertaining. We really enjoyed the different dishes served for both lunch and dinner. We will recommend this trip to friends and family visiting Phuket in the future.
