After 12 years designing and developing one of the World's most highly awarded Ecotourism companies, John "Caveman" Gray goes his own way by forming "John Gray's SeaCanoe" with 18 of his most loyal and experienced guides. "After 12 years in Phuket, the experiment ran its course and I was packing for Polynesia," says Gray, "but when all these guides showed up, I had no choice but to stay and do another start-up."

Nice excursion. Guys speak english quite well. Farouk is great. Lovely views and the food was fine. If you expect a lot of fish for dinner, you might be disappointed. These people realy care for the ocean. During canoeing they grab waste out of the water. They really respect the environment. I loved of.

This activity came recommended by a friend and so glad we did it. There is so much to see. The wildlife is awesome and so close. We saw monkeys and lots of sea animals. The size of the group is small enough that it's not crowded. The guides are very professional. It is very safe too. The islands were uninhabited... More

Great for a couple or for a small family. 2 people per canoe with a guide - so plan for that. We toured three caves on two islands. Didn't spot monkeys but tons of other wildlife. No snorkeling but did get to paddle around and swim. The food was so good! And tons of it. The guides had wonderful English... More

Thanks for the great review. Sorry about the rain but its the rainy season! The Starlight trip is just our intro trip. Next time you come to Phuket contact us in advance and we can include an overnighter in your itinerary. Thanks for the nice review, John Gray More

We had debated taking a guided tour vs snorkeling, and we are so glad we did the guided tour. We did the "Hong by starlight" tour, which can sets itself apart form some other tours because it leaves and returns later in the day to avoid heavy traffic around the islands. The cost of the tour was 10-25% higher than... More

My partner and I booked this before leaving Australia, though the travel agent made it sound more 'comfortable' than it turned out to be, we still loved it. The boat was a decent size, and we could sit up the front if we wanted to get a bit of breeze (which in the heat we definitely needed!) The food was... More

This was the biggest surprise of all the things we had planned in Phuket. It was highly recommended but nothing prepares you for how brilliant this is. The sea caves lead into lagoons in the middle of the islands which are simply stunning - we even met a monkey in one of the lagoons, which was sitting contentedly on a... More

Second time we did this Tour. The caves they take you are amazing. Best part was the evening Katong making and leaving it in water. Something, I dont mind doing again next year.

This tour is a must do. We took the afternoon tour and had an amazing time. The crew were outstanding, the buffet dinner on the boat was spectacular and the tour itself was just unbelievable! We were entertained from start to finish. Lots of fun sorts of opportunities from running the canoes to learning how to make a Thai offering.... More

My husband and I went on the afternoon trip. Leaving just after lunch. Food was amazing and the best we have had since being in Thailand. Even better than our resorts food. The sea canoes were amazing. Our guide was Peter and he is a true gentleman and such a kind and generous soul. He had great local knowledge and... More
