I've been twice, purely for photographic reasons, I'm not knowledgeable about Orchid species. There are literally thousands of Orchids here and so many varieties, mostly suspended in pots. Due to the method used to display them (hung on wire), and the backgrounds it's not easy to get nice photos - though photography isn't the reason for most visitors here. All... More

Everything is so pretty, colourful and whimsical, I'm sure fairies battle it out to visit this attraction. The orchid farm provided us with the opportunity to marvel at the vast number of plants in this species and to take amazing photos. Worth a short, quick stop.

Upon entry my wife and two daughters were given an orchid as a gift. I thought this to be a nice touch. Great place to visit if you enjoy photography. Many bright and colorful orchids on display. I would only visit if you enjoy orchids or photography.

My wife is an orchid fancier who enjoyed herself looking at varieties we do not see in the US and looking at their staking techniques. It was worth the 200 baht admission price for her.

I absolutely love orchids and despite having managed to kill approximately 20 of them over the last 10 years, my love for them lives on as does taking photographs. Getting a Tuk Tuk from Patong beach took approximately 30 minutes and for 200 Baht entry per person, it's hardly expensive. Whilst most of the orchids had been cut, the owners... More

A great variety of beautiful orchids on a commercial farm. I bought 3 sterile bottles of baby orchids for 500THB each and got them home with no problems. I will visit again when I return in August.

Situated just past the Chalong circle where you turn right up a small Soi this orchid farm is amazing. It has the largest selection of orchids I have ever seen along with an impressive collection of carniverous plants. We spent over an hour wandering down the isles of orchids and I took 180 photographs! There is no pressure to buy... More

It probably only took half an hour to wander round the orchid farm but I did really enjoy it. The colours are spectacular. The 200 baht entry fee id a bit steep but I didn't mind so long as it goes back into producing more orchids! At least it was half an hour out of the rain!!

Being orchid enthusiasts we were a little disappointed by the fairly limited range of orchids on display. We saw a better display at the botanic gardens in Canberra, Australia. Something was being sprayed while we were there which gave off a rather unpleasant smell like bleach,my spouse said it could be fertiliser. I wondered if these chemicals were safe and... More

If you are a photographer, you'd really like this. The flowers are beautiful and this is a fairly inexpensive spot to visit. The price includes orchids to take back to the hotel, so I'd do this first thing once you get here so you can enjoy them :). They also make amazing fresh passion fruit ice cream. No guide or... More
