sorry but i find the malls boring - kills time on a rainy day but the malls are too much like shopping at home. nothing bad too say but not my cup of tea

45 minutes drive from the airport, Central Festival is a standard shopping mall with brands including Mango and H&M. Really nothing special and if you are looking for Thai souvenirs, forget it, you won't get anything here other than a manicure and some typical restaurant fare.

Parking was a pain. Had to fight for a carpark lot. too much cars too little parking lots. thank goodness parking was free (maybe cos we stayed for less than 2 hrs and its Sunday??). anyways, while walking in the mall, did not feel like we were in Phuket. Felt like the huge mall in Tebrau, JB. LOL... saving grace... More

The range of shops are like what you would find in The Trafford Centre they all seem to be designer and expensive apart from the H&M in there. The food court is dirt cheap you can get a kfc for about £2. The place is very nice and well air conditioned but don't go here if you want discounts

Good western style mall (with Western Style prices!). Main attraction for me is the Central Festival food market on the bottom floor. Great range of high-end fresh produce. Another must is the thai-style food court (same floor as the cinemas) which has amazing food at a fraction of the cost of the Jungceylon Mall in Patong. Downside for me were... More

There is a ToysRus inside and all kids love to go. We bought some toys in special promotion price. There are different kinds of restaurants and we chose one to have Ramen which is great and delicious. The shopping mall has two buildings with a footbridge connecting to each other. Don't forget to visit both buildings.
