nice tourist hot sopot

it is pretty hot and not lots of shade so bring sun screen. Lots of info to be learned and nice to see all the culture of Thailand at the spot will defintly recommend

The views alone make the trip to the Big Buddha well worthwhile. Sweeping views across various beaches from high above make for wonderful photo opportunities. The Big Buddha itself is also very impressive with further work currently underway to build stairways up to the Buddha.

The construction isn't that bothersome, and the view is great. Lots of 'supporting charity & building biggest Buddha statue in Thailand' donations, and if you are that way inclined you canhave a blessing by a monk, or tie bells on to the statue around the bottom, or even buy a piece of marble tile to help with construction. Good place, big tall Buddha statue. Obviously a good tourist point however not very good. I recommend that if you have enough time then can cover this place as well.

Now this is a huge buddah you can see from the streets from the town below and Karon Beach. On the way up there were disturbing rides offered on elephants. Its a big statue and not much else, The drive up is interesting and there are several panoramic views to be had from this viewpoint. The rest is just a lot of commercialism.

Big Buddha was a beautiful sight. The view there is stunning. There was quite a bit of construction work going on when we were there but it was still amazing and they give you the opportunity to be a part of the building. Nice view on top of the Naka mountain, 360 view The biggest marble buddha in Asia. I took my friends there they love t.

A great view and had blessing by monk. The drive up was nice saw some beautiful Elephants and a little baby one. But please do not ride these wonderful animals

if you come here on June 15 or maybe for some month later, they are some construction going on under the statue of big Buddha. yet you still can take a picture of the big buddha and pray in somewhat a temple and do some charity by buying stuff they sell in somewhat market..
