This place is immense, a huge buddha on a mountain top overlooking the phuket coastline. You don't have to be a buddhist to visit this place to feel inspire and a sense of a higher power.

Well worth the ride up there, it is going to be abosolutely fabulous when completed - The size of it is amazing! The views are great too.

Very interesting. Make sure you have a good guide to explain the purpose of the buddha and the reasons for its build. Fantastic all round views. meet the Monks for a blessing if that turns you on.. Be aware that this is an Indian Buddha.

Amazing piece of art engineering! O Hand S non existent. It will be fabulous when finished. Interesting to note that we started to look for the Big Buddha wherever we went to orientate ourselves!

Must do while in Phuket. Better in great weather, we went while it was drizzly bit still a great experience.

Sill under construction we found the big Buddha a good venue to visit for an hour. When it's finished it will be fantastic, and the views of Phuket from there are wonderful.
