We had a relaxing day here as there were not as many tourists as Kata beach near our hotel. Nice clean white sandy beach with no one trying to sell you anything.

Kata Noi Beach is a beautiful small stretch of sandy beach. Unfortunately there are 2 large resorts which block entrance to almost the entire stretch of beach. Since the restaurants and bars are part of the resorts, seaside dining is also unavailable unless you are a guest. Guards will direct you away from any part of the resorts. Disappointing since... It is very quiet and clean. No pushy people trying to sell you stuff. The little shops there are very good and you get to know the people personally and they are all so friendly.

This beach is one more for the locals. If you're tired of all the tourists on Kata beach, just further up is Kata Noi. Same beach but with less tourists.

Beautiful beach with surf potential but due to the Katathani Resort blocking out all access but a steep stairway. Public toilets are available on this stairway so it really means if you aren't at the resort your potential stay is restricted.

This is a great beach, smaller than many of the other Phuket beaches. Great affordable accommodation across the road from the beach and a selection of restaurants. At the north end of the beach there are some stairs that will take you to the Mom Tris restaurant, one of the best on the island and their Villa Royale boutique hotel.... More
