**I can only speak for how this beach is during the low season from June-September** **This is a public beach, but most of it is directly in front of a private beach resort. This is not one of those "wow, how amazing, I've got to tell my friends!" beaches, but I would definitely recommend stopping by Kata Noi Beach if... More

Wrong time of the year for swimming in the ocean! Surf was way too ruff and wild for swimming, I however it was the monsoon season. The weather was warm and sunny, walks could still be done on the beach.

Went in low season (end June) so probably not the fairest review as beach was closed. didnt stop a few European tourists from jumping in - rip looked pretty dangerous to us though. Am sure during high season it would be packed, and beautiful spot to swim. drinks / food available on beach. had the BEST street food (Pad Thai)... More

Stayed at the Katathani on Kata Noi. Beach was windy and sea a bit rough due to rainy season but still, its so clean, warm and beautiful. Not a very big beach, quiet and relaxing and Im sure in the calm season it would be gorgeous.

Public beach and at times no sun beds and umbrellas were on the beach. Be careful of rip currents but was great to see lifeguards on duty

Kata beach is clean, pretty, and large. The water is warm and blue, with waves perfect for surfing and wading. There are numerous vendors available with chairs, umbrellas, drinks, and massages. Walking vendors will also offer you all sorts of merchandise. Fantastically, the vendors on this beach are incredibly polity compared to Patong - you are free to bring your... More

I arrived about 10:00am. The waves were a bit rough yet surfable. There was a bit of a rip but anyone from the West Coast would recognize how to deal with it. The lifeguards were a bit worried however, the water was so excellent I could not resist but to get out there. No one wanted to go out for... More

One morning we go up early to have a lovely walk on the beach . We thought it was a lovely family friendly beach clean and well cared for sand . But to many sun chairs you couldn't get through them all .to walk back .The market across from it is to dear to buy anything from and the icecream... More

My wife and I are currently staying at Mom Tri Villa Royale, overlooking Kata Noi beach. We have previously stayed at Patong and Kata, and hands down this leaves them for dead. None of the major crowds, or pollution, and apart from the mentally challenged people swimming whilst the red flags are out, there is nothing bad i can say... More
