When you speak about Kata Noi, you may remember that beach with a few people and some huge waves. The cleanliness is nearly good, but is much better than other beaches in Phuket, There are not many vendors, so you will have a nice time without someone pushing you to buy some stuff, just swimming and taking a rest at... Like everybody has noted, the beach is incredibly beautiful, and lacks the noise and party scene of other beaches. Katathani Resort dominates the beachfront, but the hotel is not very intrusive and you barely notice it when you are on the beach. Plus, they clean the beach every day. At the southern end there's another fancy place with rooms on... More

Kata noi is quiet and lovely beach. Bar/restaurant On the Rocks at the south end of the beach is really a gem: don't judge the book by the cover. You will have the best Pad Thai 😊

All the beach beds have been removed from all beaches in Phuket due to a dispute with the government, I believe due to taxes, or something, and its OK to sit on a towel for a couple of hours but after that, joints and muscles begin to ache, especially if you are one of the older ones!! But a beautiful... More

Soft fine sand, no need for shoes. Warm clear seas. Quiet by Phuket standards with little by way of beach sports. Not very crowded. Bit of a lack of shade but a great beach.

I find this one of the more peaceful beaches. Last year it was flooded and crowded, but not this year! :)

What happened to phuket?! I was here a few years ago -- the beaches were beautiful and water clearity off beach was amazing (used to be several hundred feet!) its less than 30 now. Probably because RAW SEWAGE now empties into the BEACHES! If you dont believe it just google "sewage kata" or "sewage karon". Why arent more people talking... More

Great beach. Lots of sellers with sarongs crotchet dresses rings sunnies even bloody tablecloths of all things. Water is clear and warm. But too many Russian tourists for my liking.

Water is very blue with a few catamarans about, beach sand is cleaner and generally not as many people around (still busy) relative to other beaches.A 30min walk from Karon beach or a 5min tuk tuk ride (200 baht).
