Description: Kok Chang Elephant Trekking Safari in set on a beautiful ocean viewpoint...
Kok Chang Elephant Trekking Safari in set on a beautiful ocean viewpoint where the dense tropical jungle overlooks Kata Noi Bay. We offer various jungle routes riding on these Majestic animals from 20 minutes, or to the summit on 30 minute and 1 hour treks. Fully trained and experienced guide handlers will take you and your family through the dense tropical forest along paths and trails from the southwest corner of the beautiful Phuket island stopping at scenic beauty for photographs along the way. Get lucky and sit on the elephants neck. Children and adults are encouraged to stop by the banana kiosk to observe and feed the Elephants, there is no charge. This is a great photo opportunity and you can even touch the elephants trunk.

This is a wonderful way to see and ride the elephants independently. Contact Kok Chang direct by e-mail. I did a few months in advance but you can do so just 1 day ahead. We were picked up by them from Karon Beach Resort and Spa at no charge and driven to Kok Chang. The elephants are there to greet... More

Elephants are quite well looked after and seemed in good condition. Looked at another place for trekking and those elephants were in an appalling state and tethered at the side of a busy road. A 30 minute trek was long enough and the views at the top were breathtaking. Would definitely recommend this.

Had a 20 min elephant ride for 66 baht each standard for everyone, no bartering. Great value in you just want to ride an elephant. Had some great photos taken by the handler with our own camera. I rate this place highly, easy to get to, just 2 min motorbike ride from kata beach.

We walked up the tsunami escape route from the Kata Thani resort quite a steep climb. Upon reaching the top we saw a sign for elephants, this was such a chance find for us. Amazing both our children loved the steep climb, the views are magnificent. There are three price bands for 20 min 30 min & 1 hr treks.... More

This is an experience. High on top of this living wonder as it walks through the forest. The down hills required a tight grip, but what a rush.

Scenically it's also a top spot on the island to go to -- just drop in otherwise and feed the elephants some bananas.. they love them!

We were so pleased we chose here to experience the elephants as they were so well looked after. When not being used they were in the shade and had a constant supply of food. My husband and i enjoyed a 50 minute trip that took us into the "jungle" and from there you get a great view over the bay.... More
