Unusual and interesting way to see the rainforest.

On October 8, 2015 we took the rain forest aerial tram tour in Costa Rica. The bus ride is a long one that lasts around two hours. On one hand that was good because our guide explained a lot about Costa Rica on geography, politics, healthcare and so on. She was very knowledgeable and well spoken. We finally arrived at... More

Fantastic, relatively non-intrusive way to see the rainforest. The tram goes through various heights to allow visitors to see different levels of the forest, Loved seeing the plant and animal life. Only 2 things spoiled it a bit: the journey from Puerto Limon, which was a nightmare of traffic and took forever (only do this if your time in Costa... More

Excellent short trip to here - we filled in a free afternoon.. Very peaceful soaring silently over the treetops, interesting commentary though not a huge amount of bird/wildlife to be spotted. Good guide showing you round the butterflies, hummingbirds, snakes etc, though nothing particularly extraordinary if you've been to other wildlife centres in Costa Rica. (I don't mean that as a... Sergio was an excellent guide who is passionate about his country fauna and flora. He spoke very clearly and provided us with a wonderful experience in Costa Rica. From the boat ride on the Tarcoles river seeing crocodiles, iguanas and birdlife to the aerial tram ride where we viewed a large iguana, black mandibled toucan and king vulture and gained... More

This is a well thought out attraction. The canopy tour in gondolas that seat 6 plus tour guide take you close up to the vegetation so that you can see insects and birds in their natural habitat. There are spectacular views on all sides. The ride lasts about 90 minutes. Back down on the ground there is a walking tour... More

Yesterday, I visited the Rain Forest Adventure Aerial Tram in Guapiles and had a great day. We rode the aerial tram with our very knowledgeable guide, Manuel. We came on a rainy day, but still enjoyed the amazing views of the canopy and saw a few species of birds while on the ride. After the aerial tram, Manuel took us... More

We had never been to the aerial tram and decided to take the trip and do the adventure. It was an amazing experience and far exceeded our expectations. You park at the entrance and they come and pick you up and drive you about 5 km deep into the rainforest where the adventure begins. Your guide meets you and goes... More

The tram ride is very smooth and breathtaking! We didn't do the zip lining but everyone around us were really excited about it.

...this might be for you. We did this aerial tram ride with a Caravan Tours group in February and going out on the cable it skims near the ground for a while and then climbs close to tree tops so you get a good perspective of the forest. Along the way some people in other trams and some people in... More

We did the rain forest tram ride in the morning and it was quite good - the views were excellent and our guide did his best to point out birds and butterflies but as most people will know most of the creatures of the rainforest are nocturnal so we weren't really expecting to see many in mid morning. We did... More
