We visited Chateau Haut Garrigue for the Vineyard-Walk, Winetasting & Cheese Platter in August 2014. We were welcomed by Caro's assistant Marine, who was very welcoming and generous and was more than happy to share her knowledge on biodynamic winemaking. We were given a map of the entire wineyard area and walked it by ourselves, with the Feely's lovely dog... More

We have just had a lovely week with Caro and Sean. We stayed in the wine lodge with friends. So relaxing, great way to chill out after Paris. The wines were superb and Caro provided great knowledge of the wine system and wine pairing. Thoroughly enjoyed the walks in the area led by Caro. Would thoroughly recommend this stay/ wine... More

We spent a half day touring Chateau Feely, tasting wine and enjoying a lovely lunch. Caro Feely is a force of nature, passionately teaching her philosophy of wine and life in the vineyard. Her advocacy of biodynamic agriculture was especially interesting and caused us to take another look at the wines we usually drink. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Ever harboured those thoughts " let's pack it all in and make wine" why not we drink enough! I can definitely recommend a combination of a great book 'Grape Expectations' by Caro Feely and then a visit to their wonderful winery ( or wine farm as she calls it), is highly recommended, did the vineyard tour and tasting session, really... We visited Chateau feely with friends we were holidaying with after one of them had read grape expectations and suggested a day out wine tasting and food pairing. We all came away inspired by the passion Caro had for biodynamics and learnt far more over lunch about wines and the foods they go with than we ever have in 15... More

While passing through the Bordeaux region in late July my friend and I took a wine tour with Caro at the beautiful Chateau Feely. The tour was excellent, really informative, Caro really knows her stuff, we were converted to the idea of organically producing wine! The tour was followed by a wine tasting and a delicious lunch tailored to the... More

Whilst staying in the Bordeaux region recently we booked the winery tour and revelation lunch at Chateau Feely. The day could not have been better. The winery tour was very interesting and gave us much food for thought regarding the importance, and need for, organic and biodynamic wine production. Caro was a perfect tutor, mixing in the history of the... More

We stayed at the wine cottage on the estate and really enjoyed the friendly welcome, the views and the wine. We also booked onto the wine and food pairing experience which was fantastic! Caro is so knowledgeable - we came away amazed! We also came away a little frightened by the statistics on how much yucky stuff goes into non... More

We booked ourselves on the Discovery Tour at Chateau Feely whilst holidaying in the Dordogne region and staying in Perigeaux. Caro was a fantastic tour guide and extremely knowledgeable as a vine grower, vineyard owner and winemaker. It is evident that they uphold their organic and biodynamic principles as illustrated through their passion, enthusiasm and commitment to the land, their... More
