We had a great time. We brought a cooler, had a few beers, and kicked back. The water is shallow enough where you can stand up. We used masks, didn't even need a snorkel. It was crystal clear. We saw a lot of fish and a small ship wreck. An entire troop of monkeys crossed the island right in front... More

My family of 5 with young children have a great time visiting the island and seeing the monkeys. We really wanted to Kakak with Barefoot but they were full and recommended Paco. I'm glad we didn't try to Kakak with the kids as it would have been a strenuous paddle. Captain Paco loves what he does and the enthusiasm he... More

December 1, 2015 Don’t miss out on this island adventure, because you have issues with ability to kayak ~ Cruise to monkey island on the “La Paseadora” with Captain Paco. On December 1, 2015, 10 members of the Newcomers Club of San Juan visited the shores of monkey island. Captain Paco taught us how to play a conch shell like... More

We loved Paco's friendly nature, and his welcoming spirit. He brought instruments to play on the way out to the island, and served simple meat and cheese sandwiches between spots. Although my husband got boat-sick, we both loved seeing the monkeys, the shipwreck with fish and the other side of the island we saw lots of rays. The water was... More

Captain Paco was recommended by three local outfits. His boat was colorful and so was he. Our day was filled with a beautiful boat ride that kept us entertained with learning the cha-cha and playing the concho shell. This trip out to beautiful Monkey Island to snorkel around a wrecked ship and kayak up to see Monkey's is one that... More

We ran into this on accident and my husband and I are glad we did. The captain and his crew (one other guy) were great. He made it fun and knew lots of facts about the island. It's affordable and fun.

I echo all the other reviews-- Captain's Paco's tour was great! Not fancy, but Captain Paco gave us a private tour with just four of us on the boat. Our boys, ages 11 and 9, loved snorkeling for the first time, and we loved Captain Paco!

Captain Paco and his sailor David are such great hosts. They make the arrangements to take my beloved family to the gorgeous Monkey Island. We swan, snorkled, kajaked, and observed the amazing wild life in such a little island (including huge iguanas, the small playful macaques, and the fish diversity). The water was cristal clear, and perfect for the splash,... More

My husband happened to meet Capt Lopez early one morning while he was loading his kayaks for the day. He lives across the street from the house we were renting. Capt Lopez gave my husband some information about his trips to Monkey Island. I called him and he was able to accomodate us on short notice. For $40 per person,... More

This was my favorite thing we did in our week-long Puerto Rico vacation. We saw some monkeys doing cute monkey things, and did some really great snorkeling. Paco was delightful! So cheerful, easy going, and fun. On the ride out to the island, we each tried to blow on a conch like a horn, and he had other percussion instruments... More
