I visited Fattoria di Montecchio last spring, and it was the highlight of our trip in the Tuscan Area. We had lunch and tasted four wines, it was a WONDERFUL experience. Arianna received us, and we could asked for more. The food was great, and the wine even more. I strongly recommend to stop by, the views are breath taking.... More

We were only in town for the day on a cruise. After spending the morning in Florence our guide brought us by here. We could have lingered and had lunch, but we were short on time trying to pack so much in. We sampled their table red, which we bought 3 bottles of. Their reserva was also very good, but... More

We visited for a tour and tasting as this place wss recommended by our wonderful hosts. Very disappointing tour - the place is stunning but the guide that day was unengaging and the wine was not great - although the Rose was lovely!

We have been to Tuscany a number of times and our tour guide knows that we don't want to go to a winery, sample a few wines and leave. Once again he found a gem. We had a "light" lunch together with our wine tasting. Needless to say, we were not hungry for the rest of the day and the... More

We were brought here for wine tasting as part of a tour through Tuscany. So glad we stopped here. We had another winery stop a few day's later on another tour and this one was by far superior. Not only were the wine courses paired with either great bruschetta or Prosciutto but also great olive oil. We were stuffed and... More

Close to San Donato. Great Chianti and views of the area. Recommended by the tourist office with good reason.

The four of us scheduled a wine tasting at this winery within sight of our hotel, almost. The pour was generous and was accompanied by a bruschetta with their olive oil. Our hostess was very personable, and we learned about life in Italy along with the wine.

we rocket up to this winery after Casa Emma, unannounced, and they were gracious enough to open up for a tasting for us. I must say that these wines were my favourite chianti Classico wines, and we bought a few bottles to go. They also had fabulous honey as well which we bought 2 jars of too. Our host was... More

Our tour guide Francesco from All Around Italy tours arranged for us to have a tour of the winery which was most interesting and then lunch with wine after. The location has the most amazing views and would be great place to spend a couple of days as they do offer overnight accommodation. Our winery tour was conducted by Arianna... More

After many times I visited the winery I have to say the views and setting are great, wines more than high quality and Arianna is a great host! Everybody loves her and she knows her wines and has passion in her job. I suggest to stop there while touring the chianti area.
