We visited a couple of places for wine-tasting, this one was a bit disappointing. The tour was very interesting, but the tasting afterwards were carried out without great interest in us. As a start in wine tasting ok, but not more. You can buy the wine in the supermarket nearby.

This was our first winery in Tuscany and was somewhat disappointed by the staff. The tour of the cellars whilst interesting to see added little value. From experience of other wine regions there is so much more you can do or say with the cellar tour. The wine tasting itself was ok. Nice enough wines but with very little explanation... More

We booked a day trip from Florence with Giovanni at Sunflower Tours (excellent driver-highly recommend!) and although we were mainly interested in Siena (beautiful!), we asked him to recommend a winery on the way. He offered a few suggestions and we picked Fattoria di Montecchio. The young lady who showed us around was knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. Our tour... More

Thankfully, our travel agent (Mario at Bellarome) scheduled a visit to Fattoria di Montecchio last week. Arianna was a fantastic host and we had a wonderful tour and tasting. I look forward the arrival of our shipment of wine.

While on a tour through Pisa and Florence, we decided to visit the Tuscan country. Our guide suggested visiting wineries, and we were fortunate to visit Montecchio. The staff was very knowledgeable and courteous. The four wines we sampled were great. We bought a case and they made the buy/shipping process a breeze. Beautiful country, nice facility, gracious staff, excellent... More

We went for a wine tasting and tour of the property and it was wonderful...the wines were plentiful and quite good.. We purchased some to enjoy on our trip and also had some shipped home. Shipping was a bit expensive, but every time we open one of these bottles we are brought back to Italy.

We had 4 wine tastings in Tuscany which was pleasant, but at Mottecchio we had the most varieties of wine to taste and it was free of charge. We bought some wine and enjoyed the tasting.

Seriously. It tasted very lightly like popcorn. It was addictive. I wanted to drink it. My husband & I visited here as part of our "Wine Time" tour with Tuscan Wine School. We really enjoyed the beautiful grounds & learning about their wines. NOTE: Great place to ship wines home if that's something you want to do--they make the entire... More

We visited this beautiful establishment through a shore excursion arranged by Joe Banana and we were totally blown away by the experience. Ariana provided the tour and overall experience, and she was EXCELLENT! She was very informative and friendly. The place is absolutely lovely, the sit down wine tasting with the pairings of oil, bread, cheeses, hams, etc. was amazing.... More

When we first entered this winery, there was a large crowd of people tasting. I was tempted to leave but I am very glad that I didn't! the tasting room is beautiful and very welcoming. Arianna Bisacchi did everything possible to make our tasting memorable. She shared her knowledge of wine and the region and made a very personal connection... More
