A great summer walk.

A great summer walk in the mountains. The recent Zirben park is interesting for the childeren. Great ski area.

This year we went there for the +10th time. We really like going for a ski there. The ski area is not huge (45kms) but you have a wide variety on slopes. You can have your kids learn to ski till accepting a challenge of the 80% slope. The price for the tickets are also still very good. There are... More

Hoghzeiger is very family friendly. You have several ski routes in any difficulties with a variety in blue (easy), red (medium) or black (hard) routes. Several restaurants are available in the ski area and the staff is overall very friendly. It's better to eat in the smaller locations where you have table service and the quality is better compared with... More

Hochzeiger is not very big but it is just right for families with children (who are e.g. still in ski school). Even in Christmas holidays it is not too crowded. Prices are ok, especially with children under 11 years old are free when the ride with their parents. Usually, not so much snow but always a save place for skiing... More

Even though it has been a low snow year, most of the runs here were in excellent shape (some artificial snow). We found there to be a large number of runs which were esp. good for families or beginner-intermediate skiers. There are also steeper runs for more advanced skiers. The runs are quite long, so you can minimize your time... More

Small lift lines no matter the season. Good uphill capacity. For a small resort there is a wide selection of piste. Easy runs for the beginners and a variety of pitch for the more experienced. Off piste gets tracked out quickly after a storm. Helpful and friendly staff with a few good pubs.
