Get the forest’s different perspective, take a close look from above! You can be eye to eye with the birds and animals of the rainforest while sitting comfortably in the seat of our Swiss-engineered aerial tram system. Gliding smoothly through the tree tops, you will experience firsthand the sounds and peace of the deep tropical rainforest. One of the Gamboa’s tour guides will accompany you to describe the flora and fauna that you will see. The 1.2-kilometer ride culminates at a hill top where you have the opportunity to visit the Observation Tower. After walking up the spiral ramp, you will discover a panoramic view of the Chagres River, Panama Canal, Embera Indigenous Village, and the Town of Gamboa. All surrounded by lush mountainous rainforest. Recommendations: comfortable clothes, binoculars, water. Departure times: from Tuesday to Sunday. Closed on Mondays for maintenance

Definitely make this a part of your trip to the Gamboa Rainforest and the Resort...plan to stay at the resort at least overnight. I would recommend not staying on the all-inclusive plan as it gives you more flexibility for dining. Special place...bring binoculars!

Tram tour was apart of a day trip for us. We started with a boat tour on the canal and saw Monkeys. Following the boat tour was lunch. We then took the Tram tour followed by the butterfly and frog houses. It was a great way to see the canal and the rain forest in one day. It was definitely... More

It is safe, you take a tour guide into the cable car and you can go through the jungle to reach the end, then you climb a tower and there is an excellent view of the canal but also during the trip in the cableway. Very quiet and just listen the sounds of nature. Transportation from the hotel to the... More

We enjoyed our ride through the trees and our tour guide was great. She was knowledgeable and friendly. We continued on to the ecological tour seeing frogs, orchids and butterflies or mariposas.

Tram ride was too short, no wild life to be seen. Views from the observation were spectacular, make sure to bring your binoculars.

Loved this quiet tour through the jungle. You can see the gorgeous jungle and spot animals in the trees and on the ground. The tour guides are extremely knowledgeable and friendly!

You get to see an awesome view of the Panama Canal from the top of an observation tower. Must make reservations and be on time. The kids had fun.

The Ariel tram is a great way to see the top of the canopy. You can sore with the birds and get a different perspective of the rain forest. Plus when u climb to the top of the tower u get a 360 degree view. You can see for miles so you can see the canal and the Chagres. Inexpensive... More

The trip included transfers to and from the hotel to the tram, the ride on the tram and a visit to the 90 ft. high observation tower. Our guide, Philip, was wonderful and very knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions and provided a wealth of information about the tram, the tower, the wildlife, the flora and fauna, the area... More

This was a fun experience. We were picked up and brought to a hotel in the Gamboa forest, where we waited for an hour. Then we were taken to the starting point of the tram. It was fun to go through the forest at a height. We didn't see any exciting animals, though we saw a sloth sleeping on a... More
