Captain Carl has put together a very enjoyable package here. Excellent way to experience the canal, see some monkeys up close and personal, and just enjoy the Panama outdoors. We totally enjoyed the boat ride, the kayaking and the swimming. Seeing "Fluffy" was pretty cool too! Well maintained facility and in a fantastic spot! The tour was long enough without... More

This is a quality tour and tour provider--you see monkeys, hear great info about the canal, get a great lunch and a choice of afternoon activities. So why was it not our cup of tea? Too many people in the group for only one tour guide. There were over 40 of us in two completely full boats and we were... More

We normally do split our larger groups. Unfortunately on this date my other guide was ill and it was a one man show. During the activities briefing I always tell the guests to team up with someone who knows how to steer the kayak and this person needs to set in the back. On this day we had a large... More

I really was expecting just a basic boat ride to the lodge to hang out for the day in Gatun Lake. Boy was I wrong. We got a detailed boat tour explaining the Panama Canal expansions happening right before our eyes. We got to feed monkeys, see all kinds of different wildlife, and explore the jungles of Gatun Lake. When... More

They picked us up at the cruise ship and we met Juan who was our guide. The boat ride from where they picked us up to the lodge was about an hour, thru the lake and so very informative/educational. Then we entered the jungle and he knew exactly where to go to find the monkey's so that we could see... More

The boat tour was very informative, we actually got to feed the monkeys as well as got to hold a Boa Constrictor and baby Crocodile. The kayaking was alot of fun as well as swimming near a waterfall

I lived in Panama for 3 years - took the tour a few dozen times - every time we had visitors in town - and every time it was the same reaction - the tour exceeds expectations. You learn about the canal - see and experience things (feeding animals - jumping off waterfalls - etc) that most folks just don't... More

We had set this up as a private tour and were a little nervous us as this wash he first time we had not done a ship tour. Timings were perfect except for one person that didn't show up on time so we waited 35 mins form this inconsiderate person that can't tell time or read a schedule, we left... More

My wife signed us up after reading about it on the Cruise Critic for the cruise we just got home from on the 27TH of March, 2015. We had no problems following the directions to find the guide and bus. They had a comfortable 1 hour bus ride to 120 HP Motor boats. I was surprised to hear Captain Carl,... More

My friend and I did the overnight tour where we got to sleep on the awesome house boat! The tour led by Captain Carl was engaging and informative with some laughs as well and his crew is just as awesome! We got the opportunity to see so much wildlife and by staying overnight, we were taken to an amazing and... More
