Best advice from another review: STAY THE NIGHT. We did and it was awesome. I sold my family on this by saying it was "like the houseboat from the movie Anaconda". This was the only way I could explain a floating lodge to them. They were blown away by the real lodge and kept thanking me for planning such a... More

This tour was fabulous! They picked us up at our hotel and dropped us off at the docks. We the boarded a boat and headed out onto the Panama Canal/ Gatun Lake. Our tour guide, Juan, was fantastic, very knowledgeable and accommodating. We stopped at a few sights along the Canal/Lake and the headed to our jungle tour. We travelled... More

From making the reservation, to getting picked up at the hotel, the tour, the food, the hospitality, everything was excellent. We were picked up right on time by a large van at the front door of the hotel. The driver (Carlos) spoke English well and he pointed out my things along the way. He had an excellent knowledge of the... More

This was the most amazing outdoor experience I've ever had. I was grinning the entire time. Feeding monkeys in the wild, kayaking through the jungle, visiting a secluded water fall, hearing the sounds of nature all around you. Thanks for such a unique and memorable experience, Juan! You were funny, friendly, and all around very interesting tour guide. I only... More

Captain Carl was very knowledgable about the jungle and gave a good tour of the Lake Gatun area. His jokes are a little corny but that just adds to the experiance. Tour groups are small so no one is left out. The lunch was very good with items of local flavor. Overall a fun and relaxing day. If you have... More

We recently spent the night on the floating lodge at Jungle Land. Juan was our host and he was awesome. The food was outstanding and we were busy doing fun things for 24 hours. We fed monkeys, went fishing (and had the fish we caught for lunch), went on a night tour scouting caymens, kayaked to a waterfall for swimming.... More

After reading the mixed reviews we were not sure what to expect. we had a wonderful day with captain Carl who picked us up at Gamboa Resort for our tour thru the canal to the floating lodge where we decided on kayaking to a waterfall in the midst of rain forest - what an adventure. Upon our return a meal... More

This was a wonderful trip. Highly recommend it. Went with two friends for overnight stay. Cap'n Carl is a character and entertaining. Mike and Louis showed us so much. From monkeys to baby crocs. Waterfall swimming. Can't say enough.

This trip exceeded expectations! My wife and I started our day being picked up promptly at our hotel in downtown Panama City, and after a comfortable ride to the Gamboa public boat launch, we were on our way. Captain Carl took us through the canal and did a great job of explaining about the canal history, expansion, the freighters, dredges... More

Kayaking to the waterfall and boating on the lake by were fun. Traveling from island to island looking for monkeys was just okay. Traveling from hotel to hotel to pickup guests, waiting at the dock for the other tourists to arrive before embarking on the event, waiting upon return to the dock for the van to arrive to take us... It is called Holiday Madness all over the world. Things can be very busy during the holidays and with larger than normal groups. We do our best to avoid these delays but some things are out of our control. One should keep in mind that at least they are not at work or stuck in a snow storm. Just relax... More
