Would have loved to visit this place for lunch, however as their website is shocking, and does not reference information about the restaurant and tea rooms at all (even on the link that says 'restaurant and tea rooms') it makes it impossible to actually book. Also tried calling the number on said website- no one ever answers. Obviously a business... More

We visited The Restaurant last night as a 'thank you' to my husband. We haven't been here before even though it is only just down the road from us. We arrived & the restaurant was very quiet but the were expecting a large party (who were late). The restaurant is in a coverted barn & is decorated in a simple... More

We recently tried some of the Fume on a cruise on the QM2 and enjoyed the wine so much we stuck with it for the entire duration of our holiday. Upon arriving back in the UK, we missed the wine so much I found Wickham vineyard and arranged to take my Husband on a day trip as a surprise. Jonathan... More

I enjoyed the fairly classic food, but found the service so stiff and cold. The room is stark, and it wasn't terribly busy, so a warm, relaxed welcome would really help. The view over the vines in Autumn is fabulous. Maybe the owner should treat the head hospitality staff to a trip to Napa or something, help them pick up... More

This was out first visit to the Restaurant and we were enormously impressed! It was our 13th Wedding Anniversary and we were looking for a special place to celebrate. This is a small restaurant but don't let that fool you. The staff were amazing, very friendly and knowledgeable about both the food and the local wine. The ambiance was great... More

Stopped off at Wickham with my wife for a wedding anniversary treat in the New Forest. What a terrific place! Not only were the staff friendly and so enthusiastic about their winemaking venture, but the vineyard itself is a delight to walk around and spend time chilling out with a fine glass (or two) of English wine. We took the... More

We went to Wickham Vineyard as part of a package at New Place De Vere Venues. We visited on a Sunday afternoon- beware the last tour is at 3pm. The cafe had also just closed when we arrived at 3pm. We had intended to get a taxi to the Vineyard but were told that the tasting at the end only... More

Having eaten here before in its previous guise of Vatika and thoroughly enjoyed it we decided to try its afternoon tea - and it was even better than we expected. Very generous portions all beautifully served on a three tier cake plate. The most amazing sandwiches- I don't even like sandwiches normally! - but these were wonderful, - 4 different... More

I recently arranged a group visit to the Vineyard. We were met by William and his daughter who made us all very welcome. It was a beautiful summer evening for stroll amongst the vines while William explained the growing and harvesting process. We were then shown the equipment used for making and bottling the wine. After the tour we had... More

I was lucky enough to be treated by my wife with a visit to Wickham Vineyard, and what a lovely trip out it was too! We only live 15-20mins away from there, yet we had never been there in all the years we have known of its existence. We heard all about the financial difficulties its had in the past,... More
