We visited the Boutari winery as part of a private wine tour, and each of the wines sampled and the information presented was all first class. Starting with a nice Assyrtiko, a grape that I had not had the pleasure of knowing previously, we sampled 5 different Greek wines primarily from Santorini. The Assyrtiko is similar to a sauvignon blanc... More

I go to Napa once a month and I must say the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff here is remarkable. What I thought was going to be a quick 1 hour tour became over 2 hours full of a geographic excursion across Greece via 15 different wines. The staff treated me like I was a king and really enjoyed... More

We visited this winery, as part of a wine tour. Nice food and wine pairings. Interesting to walk through the vineyards and see how the plants grow.

Boutari winery was a pleasant surprise, even after visiting Tuscany. Offers a good selection of wines from both Santorini and the mainland of Greece. The tasting is an excellent experience with a long list of wines to choose from and excellent service with details about the various wines selected for tasting. Would definitely visit again.

We had the opportunity to enjoy a bottle of Boutari wine at one of the local restaurants in Fira so we decided to make the trip to the winery and find out more about their wines. We were very surprised to read other reviews like Ryan L. who said "Go elsewhere if you want to just drop in" because if... More

If you do the wine tour than you would get service and attention from the wine staff, but if you drop in in your own vehicle, there won't be much service. I dropped in after reading so many great reviews but after telling one of the service representatives that I would like to do a wine tasting, she told me... More

I read reviews about the various wineries on the island and decided to book a tour at this winery over the other wineries in Santorini. My partner and I were the only 2 on our tour group despite choosing the semi-tour. It starts with a short film about the history of Santorini and how the volcanoes destroyed the land but... More

It's the oldest winnery in Santorini which looks after their wine quality very carefully. Hence, if you like your wines, you won't be dissapointed. Staff is very friendly. When you're there, make sure to try all the Santorini wines. Especially the sweet white one, visanti ;) never had anything like it!

Take time to visit this family-owned winery and learn about wine making in the Greek Isles. Boutari has a modern visitor center with guided tours for just 5 Euros per person. They also have tour packages that include wine samples and bread and cheese snacks for additional cost. Plan to spend about 2 hours and ask lots of questions. The... More
