nothing to dislike here, apart from the fact that the beach is no longer hidden. There are a couple of beach bars, one of which serves delicious food. The beach is very clean & is a favourite spot to watch the sun go down.

Maria, hope to see you open for business next Septemeber. What a fantastic spirited lady! We were so sad the second week of our holiday to come and find you all packed up and shut til next summer but we will be back September 2015 for your brilliant hospitality.

Sandy beach, long and shallow. Best fried potatoes on the island at the Taverna, Away from Koukournaries beach there are lots of beaches which cater for all tastes.

Very nice place with beds and parasols but you need to be fit to go there. It's a good walk from busstop 25 and then you have to climb down (and afterwards back up) It's a;so nice you can buy something to eat and drink.

The route is 20-25 minutes on foot from the bus stop. 2 descending trails to the beach, one has stairs ( not suitable for children unless they are carried down/up) The beach is in a cove, fine sand with few occasional stones that can... Just wanted to add a few comments for anyone wondering how easy it is to reach this beach, as I was as well and struggled to find a reliable description of how to get there. By bus, you get off on stop 25 (Ag.Eleni). From there, there are many signs towards the beach so it's easier than you think to... More

Came across this on our way to Eleni beach and saw a sign and decided to explore ( we were walking by the way. ) After approx 15 mins came to the path to walk down to the beach. what a gem! Sunbeds are available and there is a beach bar ( wooden shack) didn't use this as we had... More

There is no longer a taverna or sunbeds/shades at this beach. They've started building a road down to it, but it just 'stops' and the continuing path is getting harder and harder to get down. You can get to it, with difficulty, or by boat, but it's not what it used to be. Just warning you - we were very... More
