Amazing!

The softest sand and so peaceful and all to ourselves in April! We stayed nearby for 4 nights and each night the sunset was amazing. Highly recommended.

Found a sheltered bit at the east end of the beach - idyllic One of the best beaches in crete Even discovered 2 families of turtles in the rushes behind the far beach and egrets nearby - no tavernas open in April though!

It's a pretty large beach with limited parking availability. It's nothing very special about it, but we had a good time just lying in the sun and relaxing. Would probably be better suited for families with children since it's a lot of space

Reluctant to give a review - Falassarna is still slightly of the main tourist trail...it is not super crowded and in the evening is almost mystical with the best sunset in Greece possibly!

My host suggested I ought to go there to marvel at the sunset which was very dramatic on that day. Spectacular views!

We have been here when visiting the far more beautiful Balos beach. Have been several times over the year's. This is still very nice and a lot quiter tourist wise. The road is not quite as challenging either. I have only been once when the sea was calm enough to snorkel what we come for is the waves. It can... More

We drove from Chania (1 hour) to spend the day on the beach. The Greeks still consider mid-March to be their winter, so we had the beach all to ourselves. They were two: the big beach and the little beach. We chose the little beach and had a great time exploring among the rocks, as well as playing in the... More
