This used to be a lovely local pub with a wonderful atmosphere, nice food and staff. Now- terrible. and we won't be returning. Waitress was rude, very slow service and terrible value. Go somewhere else is my advice. Don't waste your money. The ciabattas are a small roll and hardly any filling. £9.50 for crab but nothing in it! The... More

Unlike previous visits, this visit was very disappointing. Having chosen the cheese platter, one of our group was offered a few meagre slices of cheese and biscuits for the princely sum of £8.00 ! A complaint was made and the dish was grudgingly changed. The waitress was less than helpful. In addition to this, we had to clear the previous... More

Went for Sunday lunch, booked a table for midday 5 adults and 2 children. Lovely pub with friendly staff but the service was very slow. Waited over half an hour for starters, and at least the same for the main course by which time the children were past wanting food. Had to ask a second time for them to take... More

Visited Philleigh Pub, or the Roseland Inn, with a few friends. The atmosphere here is amazing - everyone very friendly, plenty of chatting and laughter and due to the old Cornish nature of the pub very cosy too. We had a couple of drinks at the bar where we sampled and enjoyed the local shag - the landlord's own brewed... More

Ferry you will pass this quaint little Cornish pub. We pulled in a checked the place out for morning coffee{it opens at 11am and serves meals/Ale from 12noon}. Dog friendly, warm welcome and rustic abut comfortable interior, would seat quite a large number which surprised us as it looks tiny from outside. Drop in when passing and see what you think.

Based on Trip Advisor reviews, arranged to meet some friends who were visiting Cornwall here for dinner. Can't believe it is the same place as some of the other reviews. Starter of breaded whitebait was very, very dry and cold. Main courses - fish and chips, the fish was okay but the chips were very undercooked - hake and prawn... More

This is the most perfect little pub and restaurant in cornwall! It is located perfectly in the countryside with a beautiful feel to it. The food is absolutely exquisite with a variety of foods cooked to perfection. The crab risotto is to die for! The staff are magnificent, friendly and service is of top quality. This is most definitely a... More

We booked, recommended as can be busy. Great atmosphere, excellent service and really good food. I had steak cooked as requested, served with crisp chips, a well cooked tomato, excellent mushroom and peas that actually tasted of peas. My wife had salmon wich she assured me was excellent. Wished we lived nearer.

Tucked out of the way in a small village, but only 2 or 3 miles from King Harry Ferry, the Roseland Inn is a small pub with a focus on food. Specials are mostly fish and game. There are two rooms inside, one with flagstones and one with a very threadbare carpet. Seating outside is just off the road (but... More

We were taken to this lovely pub for Sunday evening dinner as a treat. What a treat it turned out to be. Fantastic service, lovely food and Doombar on tap. Being new in the area, we will definitely be back.
