The springs a like wet saunas.. The water is rich in minerals and iron. And warm. Better than a bath tub! Surraundings are clean (as the whole island) and inviting. What can I say..? If you visit Azores and Furnas, go for a dip. Love it. After two weeks my visit, my skin still felt soft as baby´s butt. Absolutely... More

A very pleasant experience in Furnas, Hot spring water pools with different temperatures good for every body. Not to smelly like the other hot spring waters that I tried before. Just remember to have yellow towel.

We visited Furnas on our holiday and went to these outdoor spa baths,we were greeted by a large duck in the car park who is now a resident according to the spa owner. The spa itself has changing rooms and you are provided with a plastic shopping bag to put all your clothes etc in this you take to the... More

We wanted to take in a thermal bath and this one was not too far away. It was a little tricky to find, but well worth the adventure. For 2 euros you can relax in several different hot pools. The place was clean and not too busy...

The place is heaven on earth, clean, tidy, perfect temperature, among their beautiful vegetation. We got there sometime in late afternoon, and we stayed until 23:00 aprox. At night it is even more amazing. You choose the temperature of the water by placing your self in the pools or in the nearby river. The most exotic thermal pools I have... More

I discovered this place by chance and have traveled back to it 3 times in 8 months. The baths are warm, clean and welcoming. The water is natural and the guards do a great job keeping the place relaxing. I highly recommend this to anyone, it's easy to get in and out, it's very cheap and you can re-enter if... More

We stopped by this place after visiting the caldeiras site of Furnas with Amazing Tours. Wonderful bathing experience: the water is about 39° C, the pools were rather uncrowded and the whole setting feels very natural. Entrance fee is very low (2 euro's, but with Amazing Tours it was free as it was part of our day tour). There are... More
