This place is just great - came here off season and the amount of people was just right. I can imagine that it'll be packed with people during the high season. Place is rather small though, so try to come in non-busy hours. Price is cheap - 3 euros would grant you access.

It is worth 1 hour visit. You can go into the hot water tubes and relax. Unfortunately it was quiet full when we went

First of all the natural pools, with the contrast from the black volcanic rocks to the orange left by the steamy running iron water, just wonderful! Poça Dona Beija t's a well organized space, with changing rooms, lockers and other services provided. We visited it on a Monday which was great because there were not many people. The cost of... Glad we visited this during low season. The place is small so it could be crowed. That said, we enjoyed the hot spring pools very much. Super relaxing.

We went to Poco Da Dona Beija twice after long hikes on rainy days and it was just what the Doctor ordered. Thanks to January rain, we had the place almost to ourselves, and the different pools/depths/waterfalls fixed all our aches and pains. Staff was excellent.

As the rest of the island this place is spotless and well organised. Take a plastic basket as you go in then head for the changing rooms. Use the basket to put your belongings in as you move around the pools. Once changed there are 5 pools to try. We started at the end and made our way back towards... More

We were on a tour that included a stop here. In the off-season, it was not crowded and there was no wait to get a space in the changing room, but in the high season, it is probably much more crowded. Leave your valuables securely in your car but bring 3 euros to pay for the use of the changing... More

Just a short drive by the side of the lake brings you to these interesting if a little smelly set of hot springs. Beautiful setting and a lovely place for a walk. Only 50 cents for access
