This beach is where I experienced an epiphany in my life.I came here burdened with worries about life and the truly peaceful atmosphere changed my life. The alchemy of the deep blue mediterranean sky,the craggy cliffs and the pine trees growing along them are a refuge for the soul.

This is a really nice beach, were you can take fantastic pictures and have a nice time. Water, in my opinion, can be a bit cold and sometimes can have waves so, if going with little kids, you better keep an eye on them at all times. Its definitely worth a visit.

fantastic beach, walk 100-200 yards away from the beach steps and the beach is almost empty - the sea is cold but fab to frolick in when the tide's turning - waves become quite large and you can body-board on them. Steps down to it are a bit energy sapping but well worth it when you're on the beach

A bit tricky to find until you get vclose to the area and the signs starts to pop up. The stairs down to the beach from the... More

This beach is so long and the cliffs behind are beautiful. Quite different from the smaller coves further along the coast. Great beach for a long run at twilight!

We couldn't get down onto the beach as the severe storms had washed the wooden cafe/shack down the cliff. The steps had been cordoned off with police tape.

This beach is on the west side of Vilamoura and changes names several times from de Falesia, Praia da Roche and Baixinha. It is a long sandy beach with high rock cliffs. We had a long enjoyable walk on the beach and then sat on the beach and enjoyed the lovely day. There are lounges for rent. There are restaurants... More
