clean beach. Busy on the morning but quieter after 2pm. Took free bus from Vale de Carros. Would have been quite a walk without it

Fabulous for families and couples..views are beautiful and although very busy in August still a relaxing ambience in the area. Ideal family beach holiday location and good value for money in the surrounding area especially if you drive a few mikes inland.

Beautiful beach - definitely visit ! Fab for families - beach side café great with lots of snack / meal options and lovely ice creams. The on beach loungers and parasols will cost 18 euros to hire for the day - or take your own umbrellas.

One of the best in Algarve, it's very big, so you can choose areas with more people or areas that you are almost alone. There's not a lot of restaurants to back up all the beach so if you are not going to stay near one just take your food .

It is the most spectacular beach in the area. Maybe Lagos can equal, but it has the advantage of not being so crowded .

Being from Ireland I'm familiar with good beaches but this is one of the most picturesque I've been been on,sometimes very busy but big and long enough to cope, safe for kids as it seems you need to walk out for ever before it gets deep, though it's still the Atlantic so chilly and hard to get into.

Lovely beach just a stones throw from Olhos D'Agua Village. When the tides out can walk there around the rocks. Can also walk along the beach to Vilamoura but it's quite a distance. we gained access through the Sherraton Hotel ( better known as the Pines)

A fantastic beach for beach lovers if you want your own space you just have to walk away from the accessible areas with beds and find your own beautiful spot to watch the world go by. The sea while cold was great for swimming, gently shelving with no rocks.

Walked down to the beach lots of times, taking different routes from our hotel, the easiest was through the Pine Cliff's resort and down the lift and steps at the cliff edge. A very good walk for the evening walking off the evening meal. Went to the main beach area during the day and it was very busy.
