amazing views from both directly on the beach or on the cliff tops. Leading up to the beach there are a number of local shops selling souvenirs and nik naks, as well as various local restaurants offering local cuisines. It is a much smaller beach than Praia dos Pescadores, but there is a more local feel and ambiance, in terms... More

Staying at Praia da Oura we decided to walk to the town along the road and were pleasantly surprised that it didn't take too long. How long exactly we can't remember because we did make some stops in other bays and had a look at the Golf Resort. The beach is hidden down the hill and well worth a deviation... More

By starting at the top of the hill ( car park on the left) walk down 5mins max, you pass a number of bars & restaurantes all good value and friendly, a couple of tourist shops at the bottom, and news agents, the beach is wonderful, clean and plenty of space to explore, small bays, coves and at low tide... Fabulous yellow sand beach in its own bay with rock pools at one end at low tide Family friendly. Usual array of tourist bars and restaurannts. Expect to pay top price for restaurants on the beach with the best sea views. Surprisingly only 4 Portuguese restaurants feature in the top 10 Tripadvisor reviews for Olhos - perhaps this is more... this is a lovely small beach with little coves and caves and when the tide is out plenty of rock pools to explore and little fishing boats where if you are up early enough fish can be bought at reasonable prices and severable bars and restaurants with friendly staff and good food

Been visiting since 1987 no one there on Saturday morning in a sunny December and was able to park right by the beach( I was the only car) Avoid summer months as totally the opposite to my experience you will need to park in the multi storey

An old beach with a new look. In former times it was very famous because of the drink water springs in the middle of the sea. Today is an accessible beach with a splendid red and cream cliffs, white sand and a very calm and warm sea. Good facilities, parking area, restaurants and bars. A place to come back often.

Lovely little beach with beach cafe's over looking the sea. Little fishing boats still in use. Quite and peaceful.
