It is a popular place and it gets busy especially close by the water, but when in Rome? It is better on working days when the locals do not come down until late in the afternoon. There are handy beach bars and the water is safe for all but the youngest. Can't wait to go back. What i really enjoy... More

Wide, fine golden sand with the odd Palm tree. Very busy in the summer, mainly with spaniards on holiday, but empty in the winter months, even on beautiful sunny days. Those are my favourite days.....

If you're into the penguin-like, heaving mass of humanity that is beachlife with half of Madrid on Gnadia beach this is perfect for you. Squeeze in between already established camps of extended families or young potentials angling for a role in the next edition of Gandia Shore and soak up the unending ultra violet. However, evryhting changes post the return... More

This is a stunning beach, clean, manicured, with plenty of activities for the sports enthusiast, fitness enthusiast and children. The wide beach goes on for miles and entry into the water is extremely shallow and very safe. With lifeguards on duty, there is always help at hand. Match the play with the Port and you have the perfect combination, great... More

Nothing to dislike. Amazing. The only night of the year for a bonfire on the beach and a real party atmosphere. Generations of family and friends all congregate for the fiesta. Music, dancing, beach party. Midnight all the street lights go out for an amazing firework display. Tradition is to jump over the fire 3 times and then the first... More

This broad stretch of sandy beach is very clean and very well accessable through the boulevard and wooden boardwalks on the sandy beach. Also many sports facilities are available. Along the boulevard all the traffic has been separated: oneway car-lane, a cycle-lane and ample space for walking and strolling. There is a lot of jogging all day. Its a nice... More

The Spanish take great pride in their beaches and along this coastline are some of the best in Europe. The Grau refers to the beach and port area and many Madridlenes have their second homes here. The vast expanse of fine sand stretches for miles and have every conceivable convenience from wheel chair access, cafes, sun beds to water sports.... More

Having come here every summer since I was 3 years old, I can only share with you what makes this beach so special. It is a very well looked after beach, with thin and soft white sand, and lovely clear water. There are bars on the beach, and there are seats or sun umbrellas that you can hire, water activities... Large sandy beach with easy and convenient access, well kept, well guarded, never too crowded, good for swimming, strolling, running... Classic Mediterranean Spain beach with classic Spanish beach-goers from 0 to 99 years old.
