We stayed at the Rhenosterkop chalets which delivered what it promised. Check in staff were helpful as we got so lost and arrived at the chalet itself, by accident, without first going to the reception part. The park itself is hard to pinpoint with bits everywhere and little guidance as to where to go and what to see.

Except from the most southern point of Africa and 1 shipwreck, not so much to see in this national parc. The only walking trail available is a boardwalk trail, so very touristy and no adventure at all. We were very disappointed. If you happen to pass by you can have a short stop there, but it is not worth driving... More

There are a number of beautiful thatched cottages available for rental in the park. These are modern, well equipped, great bathrooms and with a stunning desk overlooking a lagoon. There is a high degree of privacy - you feel you are there alone. The view and park if brilliant and the stars at night are awesome. Highly recommended

If you want peace and quietness, this is it! This is the only place where you can see the sun rises on the ocean and also sets on the ocean and what better way to do that with a glass of wine in your hand. This was how i did it, and it was brilliant. This was my 5th visit... More

As per some belief that the ocean meets at Cape Point. This is acually where it all happens. Lots of lovely bird life to be seen and stunning sun rises early in the morning. There is even a Ship wreck that is still visible near the coast line that you can walk out to. Though this is not advised. Lots... More

My husband and I and our 6 year old son stayed here one night in October 2012. The complex consists of about 8 individual cabins, a house right down on the water's edge and a caretaker's residence. There is a guard at the entrance of the National Park who checks your booking confirmation etc - so you do feel secure... More

We have stayed here twice and when one wants to get away from the heat in February this is the place to go to. Walking on the beach and sitting on the deck of the lovely cottage or braaing in the ever blowing wind - it's all fun. The wine tasting in the area is also worthwhile. Will take our next... More

Spent a long weekend at the restcamp at Agulhas National Park. The chalets are positioned fantastically, with the ocean views outstanding and nothing else in sight. The small lagoon is ideal for cooling off and the beach walks are outstanding. Chalets are great, very new, clean, well kitted out and well maintained. Definitely will be returning to the Rest Camp... More

The rest camp in cape Agulhas national park has 8 cabins, all positioned on a row with view on the sea. The cabin we chose had a deck, comfortable bedroom, kitchen with all you need and a shower. The rest camp is at the end of a small village, and honestly we didn't have the feeling to be in a... More

The SAN Parks rest camp in Agulhas National Park is a real treat for those who wish to get away from it all. The rest camp is surrounded by beach shrubs/fynbos. It is wonderfully serene and the sights and smells are beautiful -- the sound of the thundering ocean at night when you're in bed is a real treat! The... More
