Seaweed is a constant presence here, but on some days it gets really bad. Stick to the Nothern side of Formentera if you want to walk on the beach...

There are several beaches along the Playa de Migjorn. We visited the área of Las Dunas, which had several places for eating (with toilets), and also offered the possibility to hire sunbeds and parasols.

This beach is rockier than some of the beaches but less busy. The work on the walkways enables easy access to most parts. We found a tiny bay between the rocks that enabled us a degree of privacy. As previous reviewers have mentioned, sunbeds can be expensive especially for a family.

nice quiet romantic resort perfectly situated to travel around the whole Island. Beautiful beaches and warm sea in September unspoilt by progress. White sand and aqua blue warm waters with little bars scattered along the beach front.

It's a little rocky in parts and we found nicer beaches on the island. It's still worth a visit but be aware that on most beaches in Formentera you have to pay for sun loungers. Around 8 euros for te day is the going rate on this beach.

Some rocks to beware of, but very good beach attached to the local hotels, although it is available for public access. Some of the sunbeds and shades are owned by the hotels. Food and facilities are available via the hotels.

It's a national park so it's beautifully well kept and the sea is like a bath! Highly recommend sunrise walks.

We visited a couple of times during our stay on Formentera and parked for free close to the Voga Mari bungalows. The beach here is clothing optional which added to the relaxed atmosphere with people of all ages enjoying the clean sands and clear blue water. There is seaweed at some points but you can follow the wooden walkway until... More

it took us 1 hour to get by bike to the area - we did not like it. Narrow beach nad too much algaes. Beach's main advantage - considerably lower number of tourists.
