My wife and I went on a whale watching trip in the summer of 2011. The company is a family run outfit, the father being the captain, the elder son as guide and the wife supplied us with hot cocoa and pastries during the trip. The guide gave us good information about what we were likely to see and showed... More

The sailing was an amazing experience. The boat is comfortable and equipped with everything needed, including hot drinks and warm clothes. We saw a few dolphins and many whales, for a long time, including couples together jumping, was really outstanding! Also the fishing was really good, got to catch a huge fish after 2 minutes! A real friendly company, make... More

The whale watching trip was safe and well planned. The trip took about 4 hours. We was lucky to have very nice weather and we saw 3 humpback whales. The trip was in the fjord Eyjafjordur, so no big waves With us there was a young, enthusiastic and competent guide, who gave us god information about what we saw, while... More

Thank you for this review. We had a briliant summer with the humpback whales as they were seen in 96% of the tours summer 2011. This is the first review that gets less than 5 so we will have to work harder for a perfect record with our guests because we want our tours to be special in their heart.... More

We booked with Arctic Sea Tours to support a family run business and to get more of a local feel to our whale watching trip. Father and son met everyone and took the boat out. Very pleasant people, focused on the experience and comfort of their customers, they provided a great experience. They showed pictures of the different whales we... More

I appreciate your suggestions on the rods it is sometimes a problem but we try to make it a one rod for a family but it seems that we did not manage to control it this time. Sorry for that. We went on an evening tour, having gone whale watching in Husavik a few days before. While they put 45 people on the boat in Husavik, in Dalvik there was maybe 12 of us which was great. We had the best experience imaginable with three humpbacks, one of which was very interested in the boat and decided to dive through... More

My new husband and I visited Iceland on our honeymoon, visiting Arctic Whale Watching for their final evening tour of the season. We had seen their particular service online, and stayed the night in Dalvik just so we could visit them. When we arrived at the harbour, a little early, we weren't entirely sure where to go. We could see... More

On a clear blue day my husbond and I went whale watching on an old beautiful wooden boat. We had our 7 year old twins with us. The scenery was outstanding in Egilsfjordur with mountains all around us. The crew gave a short lecture on the different species we might see, and we set off. We saw two different kinds... More

We chose a morning trip as one of us was susceptible to sea sickness and the sea is calmest then. Also for most of the trip the boat is in the sheltered waters of the beautiful fjord, where ours was the only small boat around. There were only sixteen of us on board and we saw porpoises and white beaked... More

We feel we were very lucky on the evening of july 22th. We were suprised by a teenage whale which gave us a show of waving with tale and vins and jumping with great spectacle into the water for minutes long. The captain tolds us even he had never seen this. But even without that it would have been a... More
