Inreresting & beautiful cave, & rock formations, with spectacular waves breaking over the edge. But these are accessed down very steep steps unsuitable for disabled or elderly, & in the caves themselves, there are no walkways - you scrabble over rocks & it would be easy to slip & sprain an ankle! One is accompanied by a guide - ours... More

The Animal Flower Cave doesn't really have many animal flowers (sea anemones), but that's fine because it's still really gorgeous and unique. It's $10USD for a tour guide, but it's well worth it b/c it would probably be really unsafe to have people stumbling around in there unguided, and the guides show you the interesting spots without rushing you. Our adult daughter and I drove to this place and were so happy we did. The view of the ocean crashing on the rocks is remarkable, and swimming in the cave was really memorable.

The Animal Flower Cave is a must-visit in Barbados. You get the beautiful view from the cliffs, with the Atlantic waves breaking on the rocks. Then you go with a guide down to the cave, he will tell you about the history of the discovery of the cave and show you around. Our guide was very friendly and told us... More

The trip to North Point is well worth the effort - stunning scenery, with spectacular and dramatic ocean views. Don't be seduced by the 'flower' thing though, there are very few of them! The cave visit however is definitely worth it for the extraordinary views of the heaving seas 'close-up', and the chance for a unique underground lake-swim experience. And... More

I always love a drive to North Point (Animal Flower Caves) when I am in Barbados I have not been down in the caves for a while but I love the views and the waves pounding on the cliffs. This years visit was a surprise with a new bar and deck and they will soon be serving light lunches. One... More

The northern point of Barbados offers stunning views from the cliffs on the waves hitting the rocks. The cave is surely worth visiting and it was a very interesting experience to swim in a pool in the cave. We have visited the Animal Flower Cave right after seeing the Harrison's Cave and I must say that the Animal Flower Cave... More

Recent and on-going investment has added a cliff-top bar, children’s play area and almost a café (hoped to be serving food from end of Feb 2015). Although there was a bit of a swell on the day we visited, we still swam in the pool (take your swimwear), which I suspect will be one of our 4 year old’s holiday... More

The north part of the Barbados island is rocky and windy. So there are not many beaches around here, but lots of caves and cliffs. If you're around the northern tip pay a visit to the North Point. The view of waves smashing into the cliffs and splashing water is just fascinating.

We went to the caves as a family and at first we were not sure about heading down the steep steps to the caves themselves. we walked around for a while taking in the beautiful scenery and all that was on offer, including gift shops and a few stalls. Making the decision to actually head down to the caves was... More
