This 6 acre tropical garden is filled with thousands of orchids and other plants. Lots were in bloom when we visited. The trails are easy to negotiate and there is lots to see beside orchids. There is a nice gift shop at the end and a place to get a rum punch. Worth a visit.

We stopped in as we were driving past. The price for entry was 50 Barbados Dollars for the two of us. This seemed quite a lot considering it only took around 20 min or so to walk around. The grounds are nice and there are some nice orchids, but the cost seemed a lot for the size and time spent... More

Whilst this place has some of the finest Orchids I have ever seen there is more to this place if you take the time to look around, host of other plants and wildlife, saw the largest caterpillars I have ever seen, plus there is Kingbirds, Hummingbirds & Bananquits to watch for bird lovers, it has a small undercover seated area... We went there as one member of our party really wanted to see those orchids. The place is set on lovely grounds and there are indeed a lot of orchids in bloom and in various stages of growth. The main attraction are orchids even though there are other flowers there. We had visited Huntes Gardens a few days earlier and... More

Nice spot. Nice to see, but.... and there is the but. It's 12.50 US $ PER PERSON to look at some flowers. Took maybe 20 -30 min. Should have a free drink or something at the end. Got some nice pics. Would recommend? Only if your into horticulture.

The orchids were beautiful even though half of them were in bloom. I would have liked to seen the name of each type of orchid and some information about it though. Very easy to walk around and very quiet and relaxing. If you like photography i definately recommend it

The garden in on one level with very few step so easy for all to get around. The garden is full of flowers however it is small. We had a guide around the garden which took 30mins including photos. I wouldn't make a special trip here but would go if passing. Staff friendly and knowledgable.

Took one of the local taxis to visit Orchid World whilst on our cruise. Lovely setting, but somewhat run down in places and at $12.50 per head would expect a better kept garden with more orchids than they had. Disappointing!

This place could be improved by more labels on the plants and more information generally about the different types of orchids on display. I love orchids, possibly because they are the only plant I seem not to kill, they obviously thrive on general neglect! I've visited several orchid gardens throughout the world and this was not the best of them... More
