The garden in on one level with very few step so easy for all to get around. The garden is full of flowers however it is small. We had a guide around the garden which took 30mins including photos. I wouldn't make a special trip here but would go if passing. Staff friendly and knowledgable.

Took one of the local taxis to visit Orchid World whilst on our cruise. Lovely setting, but somewhat run down in places and at $12.50 per head would expect a better kept garden with more orchids than they had. Disappointing!

This place could be improved by more labels on the plants and more information generally about the different types of orchids on display. I love orchids, possibly because they are the only plant I seem not to kill, they obviously thrive on general neglect! I've visited several orchid gardens throughout the world and this was not the best of them... More

What a lovely spot! The orchids were simply stunning - despite it not being 'very showy' according to the woman at the desk! We loved it! Got to see some amazing hummingbirds as well.

We toured this in February 2014. It was a very beautiful display of assorted flowers/plants. We really enjoyed walking (even in a light rain) and just were amazed the colors and blooms. Some were so different, we have never seen them anywhere before. Very exotic and beautiful! Did enjoy a drink afterwards and shopped in the gift shop. Enjoyed the... More

I was looking forward to seeing orchids in various states of growth placed in beautiful or unique settings. Unfortunately the overall feel of Orchid World reminded me of a commercial growing facility or greenhouses where plants were being grown for resale. There were several pretty areas on the property, but it was far from what I expected. Perhaps it was... More

This is pricey for what you get. 25US dollars a head.. No guide book, no guides and labels on most plants illegible. Those flowers in bloom were stunning, but a lot seemed to be past their best. The walk about took at most 30 mins, but with info might have been longer. The usual gift shop and bar. All prices... More

A wonderful location with a huge array of beautiful orchids of many kinds, set in lovely naturalised settings that in parts echo the wild habitats in which these exotic grow. There are also many other tropical plants to delight the eye, as a background to the main attraction. a gentle and pleasant walk through the grounds is rewarded by beautiful... More

A little disappointed, gardens looked quite tired. There were quite a lot of orchids in bloom but not looking very natural or very mature. A pleasant stroll, some areas of the garden were really lovely.
