The main square has its snake charmer, Berber band and herbal medicine stand, the same most days. It's an OK place to hang out in the sun sipping Moroccan tea. The square is full of men, which some women might find intimidating, though I never felt threatened.

Our ship stopped in at Agadir and we opted to go on the Taroudant tour as the Marrakesch option would have required a much longer time frame.
I was very excited to at last be in Morroco and really looking forward to our day out.

loved this place.. didn't go to marakesh as it was too far from agadir for a day trip but from what i hear about marakesh this is just as good. Souks are not as busy or as touristy as agadir and very easy to haggle... nice to visit the wall too...

very interesting old medieval city. very busy souk, nice locals, safe, 'guides' not too pushy, any tip is appreciated. good place to shop not as expensive as Marrokech
