Our B&B recommended this restaurant and we were not disappointed with the main. Dessert however very small with liquid cream, not good valve. The attraction is the beautiful view. Needs the windows washed.

Kids had a day ticket which meant they could do a number of different activities. Staff friendly and helpful, good value for money, kids had a great time.

After having paddled from Newtonmore to Loch Shiel I arrived at the Watersportscenter rather late because I was shuttled from Inverness in the afternoon. The young French waiter did his best to try to avoid having to serve me. Hit attitude was shockingly unfriendly, which is atypical in Scotland, but arguably that is a national trait. When I asked if... More

Went for a wee paddle about in a canoe with my pal for an hour, signed to say we didn't need an instructor, were given life vests and paddles and off we went! We had an excellent morning coffee with freshly baked scones before heading out on the "wildlife tour of the loch". It was a lovely sail with a helpful guide but very little in the way of wildlife. However, the view of the Osprey was worth the trip on its own. There were plenty of activities which we enjoyed watching from... More

Staff very understanding and friendly, also up for a laugh. Great adult ticket rate for a day of activities, trustworthy as they let us take out a dinghy when we said we could sail without having. To present any proof. Very cool place!

I love Scotland and try to stay at least once a year. But i need wheelchair accessible accommodation with at least three bedrooms, which is not always easy to find. A search brought up Loch Insh cabins and they looked perfect for our needs. However, upon enquiring about availability for spring 2016, I was informed that the only adapted accommodation... More

Very nice place to have a quick bite. Nice view right on the lake. The hamburger was very good, as were the fries. Enjoyed it.
