I thought the show would be about monkeys, it was more about coconuts and how to make coconut milk! Not fun! The money was cute tho! More

I wish I had not supported this monkey farm. The cages and conditions are not good at all. I feel truly sad for the little monkeys. I can only hope that the fee we paid goes to the monkeys and they try to improve this place. I hope this place is reprimanded for their intolerable conditions. More

This is one of the saddest places on earth - the living conditions for these monkeys is appalling and they are the saddest looking creatures you will ever encounter. I have been haunted by this place ever since I visited and wish the Thai government would step in and close it down. Animals are diseased, stressed, unhappy and malnourished, living... More

Whilst in Samui we took the whole family (3 adults and 4 kids aged 4-12) to the monkey theatre as i saw it advertised widely. Entrance was more reasonable than other attractions about 500 bt for adults and 50% discounts for kids. The gardens here appeared well maintained and lush Upon entry there are a few monkeys chained up...they are... More

I went here out of curiosity to see how well or otherwise the animals were kept, and was appalled at what I found. As stated by the two previous reviewers, who I salute for taking the time to tell people about this horrible place, the monkeys are kept in dirty concrete floored cells with no comfort whatsoever. As I very... More

Myself and my girlfriend went to Monkey Theatre not really knowing what to expect. Whilst walking round the streets of Koh Samui and getting approached by numerous locals offering to take our pictures with so called 'tame monkeys' (probably sedated) we maybe should have followed our instincts in that on the whole animal welfare is not high on the agenda... I just wanted to let anyone who is travelling to Koh Samui know about the monkey theatre there. I was there a few weeks ago with my family and it nearly reduced me to tears. The monkeys are in cages and as soon as you approach they are screeching for food. I know animals will always take food that is... More
