I've booked BlueStars National Angthong Marine Park through ONline THB 4400 for 2 persons (me and my wife) in reply they have asked me to pay in cash upon joining this tour. On 27th Oct 2014, their van pick us from hotel and drop at Pier, where old but well maintained boat waiting for us. After briefing, vouchers and cash... More

Thank you for your feedback and we are pleased that you had an enjoyable day. We must however strongly refute your suggestion that we(the business owner/operator) charge double the price for our own tour. It can only be a case of misunderstanding between the "local tour operator"(we assume it was a small agent on the street) and yourself because to... More

We took the Blue Stars Kayaking at Angthong Marine Park. It was truly one of the highlights of our three week visit to Thailand. The shuttle van picked us up at the hotel, on time, then transferred us to the pier where the group was assembling for the days tour. The Captain is German and very friendly but also very... More

After researching on Trip Advisor we decided to book Blue Stars for a trip to Ang Thong Marine Park and weren't disappointed. As we kayak at home we wanted a decent amount of time on the water and we had 2 decent paddles during the trip. It was great fun kayaking through all the caves and overhangs. If you want... More

Enjoyed the day as kayaking and bit of snorkelling. Nice trip, but the German owner/tour guide was biased to his native German tourists. They would split the boat into 2 groups. German speaking and everyone else. German speaking got preferential treatment for all activities. They went first for everything, meaning they got food first, showers first, activities first. Not good... More

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased you enjoyed the activities even if you had to wait for the first group to do theirs first. Honestly I can't understand what difference it makes whether you are in the first or second group, you still are able to enjoy everything. And perhaps if you were in the first group then... More

Slow boat ride there and back, boat is pretty basic however the food and drinks supplied are great, Marcus and his team are laid back and fun. Didn't bother with the snorkelling but did swim and kayak, excursions into the rocks and wee open caves were great. We weren't highly experienced kayakers but didn't have any issues. A good day... We booked this trip before we left for Koh Samui on our honeymoon. Pickup from our hotel was prompt and we were transported to the pier where we got on the boat. It's a fairly long trip out to the park, almost 2 hours, but the trip is pleasant and comfortable and drinks/snacks were provided. Our guide, Marcus explained everything... More

We chartered Blue Stars for a pre-wedding group (<30 people) kayaking and snorkelling. Fun day but can be better improved with customer orientation and a megaphone for the captain - we consistently had a hard time trying to hear his multiple briefs even with the engine off which as a group we were very interested in. Despite the captain and... More

I really enjoyed my day with Blue Star. The boat was a little slow but it was a pleasant enough trip. The guys in change were really friendly and helpful and tried to make the day as fun as possible. The islands were beautiful and well worth seeing, but the snorkeling wasn't great there, as the water was not very... More

Quick review: - Ferry boat is Very S-L-O-W moving. Took 2 hours to get there - snorkeling is sub-par (I'm from Miami, so had higher expectations). Poor visibility and just not a lot of sea life + rock formations are BEAUTIFUL + Emerald lake is gorgeous but you can't swim in it and it's a hell of a hike up... More

We appreciate your comments. As we have mentioned here before, unfortunately the water clarity can be a bit hit and miss for snorkeling. The Park is perhaps not the best location for snorkeling but it is definitely the best destination for kayaking. More

Itinerary stated snorkelling as one of the programmes, but actually it was while we waited for our turns to kayak. The spot where we waited was not even a spot good for snorkel; the water was not at all clear. The whole trip was about Kayak and Kayak, and other than the german guide spending 5 pathetic minutes telling you... More

Thank you for your comments even if they are not positive. Our tour concentrates on the kayaking because that is what most people want when they book a kayak tour. Unfortunately the snorkeling can be a bit hit and miss as far as water clarity goes. I can assure you that the location you were offered the snorkeling time is... More
