I liked the place a lot. For me, it was the first time coming so close to "free" monkeys, so it was something special. We had luck with the weather and the place wasn't too crowded thanks to the off-season visit. You get a hand-full of popcorn at the entrance, as well as a lecture how you should behave. The... More

This is a great place to spend half a day. The macaques are completely accustomed to the presence of humans and will happily pick up popcorn (provided at the entrance) from your hand or ignore you completely. Younger macaques play as if no one else was around. It was much nice than I had hoped and lots of fun four... More

Exciting for kids. Monkeys feed right from your hands. Situated in a lovely park-like forest. Nice playground area for the kids afterward.

The park itself is not big and the main attraction is feeding the free monkeys (Barbary macaque) that stroll all around the park. on the entrance you are getting a small amount of popcorn to be used for the feeding. the monkeys are friendly and my kids were exited. There is also a short show presented in french, quite boring... More

we was there with small children, they liked it very much, they can feed monkey straight from hands. entry price is not big, for children till 5 years is free. bad: it is good just for one time. There is only monkeys, better go to zoo where you can find a lot more instead of monkeys.

We passed about an hour there. The setting is splendid and the macaques are free. We were given some popcorn to feed them with and our three year old son thought this was splendid ! The entry fee was reasonable, plenty of parking, easy access and 2 very well appointed playgrounds at the entrance. We felt that one hour was... More

This was one of my favorite sites on my trip to Alsace. The guides were very polite and spoke multiple languages. It's incredible to see these animals interact freely. There were also several babies to observe. It was a nice and quiet nature walk.

It was wonderful to find a place in France that so clearly cared about the animals in their care & where the majority of visitors followed the rules for how to treat the animals. We all enjoyed watching the macaques at close quarters & the small amount of popcorn you're allowed to feed them provides very close contact. The feeding... More

Paid a visit recently, unfortunately in the pouring rain which meant we didn't stop as long as we otherwise would. You are given a small handful of popcorn to feed the monkeys with and they are incredibly cute. Many sit on the low fence waiting to be fed and do look a little like old men! Well worth the admission... More

We took our two kids, ages 8 & 9 and we all enjoyed it. Took about 45 minutes to walk the route. There were some crowds so if we saw a monkey alone we took advantage and spent time with it. Very nice afternoon...
