I visited the Cradle of Mankind with my family, and after a reasonable drive, we got to the venue. The design and location was great, and we found the experience enriching and exciting. Overall, we all enjoyed the day out. Restaurants could do with improvement in service and variety though.

The place is well maintain... not many people in the visits... most of the time it will be only your group. (done twice and both we did alone). There is some difficulty for elders during the tour. Ensure you get clear with your restrictions before getting the ticket. Using Visa you can ensure better price if getting the combo tickets.

The caves are an interesting to discover. Going inside gives you feeling you won't find elsewhere. The guide we had made the tour really interesting: he was not merely stating facts but making visitors laugh and enjoy. However, the groups are too big. If you are claustrophobic, here is an opportunity for you to overcome this phobia.
