The tour of the rhumerie was very good, we where in a group of ten. Our tour guide was Melody who was a wealth of information really good at her job. At the end of the tour you have a taste testing of the different types of rum. If you want the premuim run Gold you pay and extra 60r.... More

Approx £5 per adult and worth it. Interesting tour with opportunity to ask questions all the way round. The 'tasting' session is really good, rums and liqueur to work your way through. The tour only last about an hour with a trip to the shop included. Well worth a trip out, near to the Curious Corner so good to combine... More

We did both the tour of the rum-making facility and lunch at their on-site restaurant. The tour of the rummery was interesting and well-done. It took about 30 minutes and concluded with a guided rum-tasting before they let you loose in their gift shop, which sold rum, spices, and other items. (The gift shop takes credit cards, but they do... More

There's a lot to like about the Rhumerie de Charmarel: the beautiful setting as your approach the facility, and the lovely overview as you wander down from the car park to the buildings, complete with well maintained gardens. You can choose to pay for the tour (which comes with an 8 part tasting) or alternatively take lunch in the restaurant,... More

Very interesting production process. We came during harvest time. You see the whole process from sugar cane to rhum. After the tour you had a degustation of deferent styles of rhums. The rhumerie is newly build, very nice. A must do for high quality spirit lovers. The tour is guided. There is a restaurant on site.

Beautiful surroundings, good guided tour and tasting. It must be even more interesting when the distillery is working. The lunch place looked really nice.

Had a great time here. Went on this trip through a tour of the South. Our dinner was great and we enjoyed the scenic surroundings. As my brother and I are children, we did not get any rum, but a mock tail instead. The tour was good and very informative

We loved this place, yes for their rhum. They have 2 options, either pay for the entry fees or plan for a lunch there and entry is free. In both the case they offer the tour of the facility and rhum tasting. I was pleasantly surprised to know that we get to taste 8 various types of rhum and all... More
