I bought a voucher on Living Social for a 90 minute trek for two and boy was it worth it! Lorraine was so friendly and helpful. I rode BC my friend rode Curly - both were great for beginners. The trek was relaxing and invigorating. Highly recommended!

Until yesterday I had not been on a horse for several decades.Alison provided everything with such skill and professionalism that any slight nervousness quickly disappeared and I enjoyed every minute of the trek.Daisy, was a perfect match for my limited skills and we were best buddies by the time we got back to the stables. I agree with all the... More

Myself and my wife are after our first lesson in Glendalough House Equestrian. To say it was amazing is simply not enough. We've got two nice and quiet horses - Curly and B.C. (hope the spelling is correct!) – just perfect for the unsure, complete beginners we were. And after thirty minutes of a solid training in arena we were... More

A friend and I came across an online deal for Glendalough House Equestrian and decided to try it out as we had not been horse riding for quite a while and really missed it. Lorraine was absolutely fantastic and gave us lovely, well looked after, very well mannered and responsive horses. It's such a beautiful place and seeing it from... More

Glendalough House equestrian centre is really something special and provides for a real experience combining really good horses (well matched to the riders) and the most amazing scenery. I was there with 2 friends and my 12 year old daughter and we all had an amazing time. Safety was uppermount in my mind but Lorraine was amazing in providing just... More

We had an amazing hack out with Lorraine. The horses are so well schooled, really forward going but so mannerly and well behaved. The place is magical with its forest tracks and beautiful vistas. Lorraine was so lovely, she matched us up really well with the horses and was so chatty and full of information about the estate. I couldn't... More

I took a magical 90 minutes ride on Maggie through this 1500 acre house estate lead by Lorraine. I take rides wherever I stay around the world and this is the best experience I've had. It's amazingly beautiful and varied country and the horses are happy, healthy, sturdy and responsive. The horse I was riding had a nice smooth canter,... More

I booked a 90- minute ride for me and four friends of mine when we had a weekend off from our studies, and we all had an incredible time. Not only was the riding itself enjoyable and relaxing, but the scenery was like something out of a fairy tale. Not only that, but the two women who run the equestrian... More

Greeted by lovely Lorraine, even though I was very early she welcomed me in and got me settled. Rode on BC, the Irish cob. As a beginner, I enjoyed the walking and trotting very much. Fabulous scenery, wonderful people. They went out of their way to make it a fantastic experience.
