It's a very nice place, especially for kids. The tickets are quite expensive (18 CHF for adult). The place itself is not very big, but still worth visiting. Papiliorama is lovely, all butterflies are beautiful. Jungle trip is not impressive. Personally I loved the nocturama the most. To see and feel how bats are flying just above your head or... More

Went there on a Monday, it was packed with kids (field trips) and families. Had a good time with my girlfriend, learned a few things (explanations are not too scientific, also interesting and educative for the kids). Lots of bats in the "Nocturama". There are a few feeding times in the afternoon (+/- 1pm onwards), make sure to plane your... More

The butterfly farm is a nice place to spend a couple of hours if the weather is not good. The attraction is comprised of 3 closures with tropical like weather and each is filled with beautiful butterflies. We were 2 adults and a 6 m/o baby which was mesmerized by the colorful butterflies.

I have visited Papilorama many times. The butterfly dome is really nice, and depending on the time of day, and the season, you see different numbers and types of butterflies. The night dome is very well done, and quite unique. The jungle trek, while also nice, is somehow less impressive and would benefit from having more free birds (parrots or... More

Great place to go with little kids. Lots of butterflies, bats zipping around your head (you can feel the wind in their wake!), big birds, a large snake. Also a small domestic animal zoo outside, though petting is not allowed (the donkeys don't seem to mind, though...). We visit about once a year and it's always fun.

Always so beautifull with new things to see everytime. Perfect with childs. A little bit expensive for a family. My tip : take your pic-nic because the restaurant is so poor. Good luck if you don't like nuggets and sausages. Sustainable development except in restaurant. And menu is only on german

What a refreshing place for kids and adults. It looks like 3 indoor tennis centres but there are 3 amazing bubble zones, butterflies in the hothouse (wear layers you can remove as it hots up!), a night time bubble with gorgeous sloths and a bizarre soft prickle porcupine roaming the trees plus loadsabats. Then the Belize bubble is a recreation... More

One of the most beautiful and richest butterfly hall what i ever saw. Butterflies are there from all around the world. But especially the jungle area in the darkness was my favorit. Kerzes is not so far from the capital Bern, only 30 min. drive or you can go direkt with train and walk a bit. Perfect daily program for... More

We loved the butterfly hall, enjoyed the rain forest area, and were impressed with the playground. It was a great place to spend a few hours.

I think this is a fantastic place and loved the rain forrest and the exotic butterflies but uncomfortable in Nocturama as there were a myriad of bats flying a few inches from my head.
