A good experience, the dancers were great. The boys were awesome and so polite when it came to photos at the end of the night. I found the food very average (I actually filled up on the self-serve soup) although the desserts were good but if you weren't fast enough you missed out. Cocktail prices were exorbitant although they were... More

I absolutely loved the dancing and show which was amazing and very entertaining. The setup of the village is absolutely beautiful. The only downfall is the food. The curry pawpaw was overwhelming with too much curry in it and there was apple crumble but no ice cream or custard. Overall well worth visiting for the show/dance.

We wanted to discover Cook Island's culture so we bought a full cultural tour with a dinner and show. It was a fantastic experience from the start to end. We loved the knowledgable actors who were telling stories and we found out a lot about Cook Islands. The dinner was extremely good, super tasty and the show was one of... More

Great buffet meal and entertaining show. Lighting effects over the water were impressive. Great going in January as not so crowded and we got front row seats.

The people I had spoken to had not done Te Vara Nui, so I took the chance too with a couple of friends who were returning home that night. So why not go out have dinner watch a show before flying back to NZ. So we did the combo which included the cultural village tour then dinner and show. The... More

Very authentic, I certainly learned a great deal about Cook Island culture in a truly entertaining way. The story unfolded in the middle of the restaurant over water!!! We were seated with some interesting people from around the world at our dinner table, again a great way to mingle and meet people. I really appreciated being picked up from our... More

We attended the cultural tour and the dinner/show. The tour was very interesting, especially the section on coconuts. Dinner was great but it felt a bit rushed in order to get the show started. Staff were absolutely lovely. Enjoyable night but it does cost a lot.

We spent a very entertaining evening, listening to local people tell us all about the history and culture of the Cook Islands with displays of local crafts and buildings ending with a very happy gentleman climbing a coconut tree. This was then followed by a huge, tasty buffet which served local and international cuisine to suit all tastes. After the... More
