The village tour was good and enjoyed by all of us. Particularly educational for the kids and fun. See my review for the Over water show & Buffet... EXCELLENT.

This was a nice but not great tourist attraction that I feel is good for this tiny country. The floating dance routine was cute but didn't appear authentic.

We did the combo tour. This was the culture tour before and then the dinner/show afterwards. To be honest the culture part was a little bland. The dinner/show was pretty good but nothing amazing. Be prepared that they can not offer you free filterted water which is done so you have to buy bottled water. Overall a tad overated

Last week I went to Te Vara Nui with my family. It was AWESOME! My mum dragged us along and even though, as teenagers, we weren't that excited we changed our minds. It was really cool. So professional and even the cultural show was interesting and fun. My nephew (5 yrs) loved it, so did my little sisters (9 &... More

We did the 'combo' tour, show, and meal. Part way through the tour, my husband fell suddenly ill. I can't thank you enough for the care you gave us, especially Ruth and the guy(sorry, didn't catch your name) who got my husband down a coconut to drink. The dancers were beautiful and so friendly. The food was to die for!... More

My boyfriend and I attended Te Vara Nui cultural evening on one of the first nights of our trip and it is safe to say it was the best night of our entire holiday. The good was incredible, such an amazing selection-- especially considering I have a fair few food intolerances. The performance was outstanding, complete with fire dances, canoe... More

This is a must do when In the Cook Islands! The atmosphere is well decorated, the staff and crew are very happy and customer service is excellent. The dances were unique and diverse to the Cook Islands. The buffet dinner is amazing! Make sure to apply insect repellent. Honestly a very fun night out

I recently attended the Te Vara Nui evening whilst on vacation in Rarotonga, it really was a fabulous experience. We did the historical tour first then had a buffet meal and watched the fabulously energetic dancers. The buffet was plentiful and quite delicious and the staff very friendly. I went with my daughter and and a friend and we had... More
