we went to the feats and show and enjoyed ourselves. while the food was excellent and the entertainment very good, the prices of drinks was quite high. a beer cost $8 although that was pretty standard on the Island

I've attended numerous cultural shows across New Zealand, Fiji, Easter Island, Hawaii, and now the Cook Islands... and I have to say that this is probably the best show I've ever experienced! From the get-go, the shuttle bus picked us up at our accommodation as scheduled and took us to begin the 2-hour tour of Te Vara Nui's traditional village.... More

A brilliant show of Polynesia and the story behind their culture. Entertaining and vibrant customs. Food was good and recommend, a little expensive but you would only do it once.

Only time in my life I was charged for drinking water with a meal. We requested drinking water to accompany our meal and had 8 dollars added to our bar tab. None of the staff told us there was an extra charge for drinking water and when I complained no effort was extended to remove the charge from our bill.... More

Kia Orana Wain, Thank you for taking the time to post your comments on Tripadvisor. From our experience, overseas travelers do prefer the safety of bottled water which we always provide unless we are specifically asked for tap water. If we are asked for tap water we certainly do supply this at no charge however as our water is filtered... More

Fun event for couples, families, friends, pretty much any group looking for an entertaining evening activity. For the price of admission, you get a delicious buffet of island food, followed by a show featuring local dance and costume, on the water and on stage (with fire dancers!). Unless you have a large group or reserve a separate table, you'll be... More
