I recently went to this show and it was my second time in two years. I still struggle to find the words to describe the whole night! Neither time has failed to amaze! The show is absolutely breathtaking and the sounds of the drums just blew me away. You can see the pride the dancers/ performers/ waiters and waitress have... More

Such a great night. Food was amazing. Some traditional, some popular. The dancing and cultural story was breathtaking. Over water, lovely lighting through the trees. Be prepared to join in the fun. Professional and better than anticipated.

We have been to several cultural show on Rarotonga. Te Vara Nui is not to be missed. They introduce an element of magic by being held over water. The food was good and the entertainment was stunning. The show is held together by a local legend/story. The dancers migled after the show and are very enthusiastic about their dancing. We... More

This was our first Island show and it was amazing! Really lovely atmosphere with candles and all the lightning. The buffet dinner was so delicious, with a lot of variety. The drinks were a little dare...but the cocktail was delicious. All the people and dancers were very friendly and enthusiastic and the show was spectcular, not too long and not... More

We have done a few Island Nights on past visits, but this was new since our last visit and was recommended to us, so all our group decided to come including 6 young men who took a bit of persuading, the food was better than expected and plenty of it, the drinks were reasonably priced and generous, best cocktails we... The cultural village tour, then buffet dinner and show is $119 but that doesn't include drinks - not even soft drinks. Quite an expensive evening if you have a few in your party. The village tour was interesting and well organised where our large group was split into two on our entrance to the village so that the groups were... More

Wow this evening was one of the best evenings we had on the island ! The food was brilliant and they encouraged you to go back to the buffet at least 3 times. There was a great variety and really delicious. The show was spectacular !!! I was really impressed. We went for my daughter's 21st but I didn't tell... More

Great fun; dancing and story telling were magical and made the evening fly by. Buffet supper had lots of excellent food choices, all well cooked, lovely and hot (apart from the salad!) with everything beautifully presented. Drinks were reasonably, too, for Raro. One minor complaint was that, although we were among the first to arrive, our table kept getting ignored... More

This was such an awesome experience. The food was delicious and the service by the staff was at a hugh standard. The show was absolutely amazing and I loved that it had a story behind it. They have clearly but in a lot of time and effort into choreographing the dances. The dances were by far the best on the... More

For NZ$100 I expected more of a show, you arrive at 7 PM and the substandard buffet goes on until just before performance start at 8:30 PM and the performance was over by 9:10 PM and then the rest of the time until the final close is filled in with a birthday song some ordiance dance participation and a buffet...
