The chalets are very good, 2 bedrooms carpeted, bathroom with shower and well stocked kitchen. All the chalets have open fireplaces and outdoor braais overlooking the game area. We were a bit dissappointed as we didn't see as much game as we expected and all the 4 wheel drives were closed due to heavy rain. Spent 3 nights there and... More

As soon as we arrived at our cottage in the base camp compound we had monkeys on the car. They clearly were looking for any opportunity to steal food. There were warnings to keep doors closed and all food out of sight. We had a 2 bed 1 shower kitchen small lounge with tv and outside grilling area. The roads... More

The Park is excellent value for money. The chalets is great, the whole park is clean, neat and tidy. Did not see as many animals as on our previous trip, but was still a great weekend away. Peaceful and quiet!

The Mountain Zebra Game Park is extremely well maintained and offers an excellent game viewing opportunity and relaxing break within easy striking distance from Port Elizabeth The different biomes offer a superb scenic experience and host the exotic mountain zebra, gemsbok, eland, springbok, mountain reedbuck, rhebok and brown hyena. Kudu, Buffalo and recently introduced lion make up a good bundle... More

What an unexpected surprise this park was! Excellent roads, spectacular scenery, staff with good attitudes starting at the entrance gate! Guided Cheetah Tracking was well worth it. We camped and were impressed with the facilities. Just beware of the monkeys who take their chances at every opportunity. The Black Eagle Trail in the camp was an interesting walk with stunning... An unexpected pleasure was seeing the Park's two male liions (who are good buddies apparently) really close....camera on wide-angle not zoom! The camping facilities were excellent for an overnight stay on the national Braai Tour, but really one night is way too little for this large and attractive park. Will be back for a few days!

What an absolutely lovely place to stop and rest. It is quiet, peaceful and so beautiful. The restaurant makes yummy breakfasts and the little mice and birds that flew around the chalet were so cute. We saw beautiful animals (not the lions - next time) and the scenery is amazing. Next time we will stay longer! The roadworks also need... More

A short 8.5 hour drive from Cape Town lies the awesome Mountain Zebra National Park, make no mistake about it this is one mightily impressive park, sedan friendly although there a number 4x4 trails for those fortunate folk with a 4x4. We decided as it was July and the middle of the winter that this would be an ideal opportunity... More

A very pleasant park which is small enough to see game yet large enough to give the impression of space. I visited with my 8 and 4 year olds and we camped in the really excellent little camp site for 2 nights. Ablutions are great and very clean and the small shop and restaurant are close by. Well worth a... More
