Worth strolling to the end of Civil Lines to visit this Church. Could be maintained better but still has a charm of a bygone era.

Walked over to this Place from our hotel. Great architecture but really sad to see that the building and the grounds have been very poorly maintained. Hopefully they can restore it to it's former glory.

This is definitely one of the best churches made by the British while they were in India. The significance of such a structure shows how important Allahabad was to the British as a Cantontment Area as well as a center of administration. The church is located right in the heart of Allahabad and is imposing to see while you approach... More

It is one of the architecturally marvelous buildings in Allahabad. Located in the serene civil line locality. I saw it closed, mostly. Still good to see it from outside

This is something that you least expect to see in Allahabad, but when you do, It leaves you stunned. I mean this Cathedral would be right at home anywhere in Europe, or Goa, closer home, but seeing it in Allahabad is what makes it special. It's a stunning building built in the Gothic/Victorian style of Architecture, set in red &... More

This is a must visit spot if you are at Allahabad. Beautify structure towers over the landscape of the city almost redefining your expectations from the city. It is the first major monument after one steps out of the railway station and almost immediately the city adorns a veil of classic mysticism usually enjoyed by cities that are known for... More

My hotel was just down the block from the cathedral so I walked over in the morning. I circumnavigated the grounds which lay behind a fence. When I got to the gate at the north side of the circle the Reverend Daud, Presbyter in Charge was arriving. He invited me in and showed me around. This is the largest cathedral... More
