Valley, an open meadow in the foot of the himalaya range is no doubt one of the best place to be at....best time to visit would be April & May as the place offers the seasonal flowers with a varieties of rhododendrons and primulas.

If you go during the summer month you can see the wild flowers blooming all across the valley which just makes it that much more scenic and it's a good stop while heading towards zero point. During winter months you can experience snow and that has its own charm and beauty as some of the waterfalls will be frozen which... More

We went there in December. We couldn't see the famous rhodedendron flowers but with river flowing near you, it's an amazing feeling. You feel connected with the nature. Must visit.

While we went to the place in December and did not see the flower bed, for which the place is famous but can vouch for the way. It is an amazing trip from Lachung to this place full of white stones, white trees, white roads etc. Please read white as snow :)

This is a place where you can find all those beautiful himalayan flowers, a place where beauty has its own defination. A best place to relax and get free from the busy city life, with family and friends.

The churning of the river, the green grass on either side, the prayer flags billowing and the clouds cloaking the upper reaches of the surrounding snow-capped mountains... it's a picture perfect place. We were here in November, which is an off-season and came with its own pros and cons. Pros: The place was EMPTY! Our group of 4 were the... More

The cause is due to the earthquake of September 2011,... More
